Thanks, Dustin. Nicely done video. You took your time and carefully showed all the steps. Anything different I should know about doing this on a 2000 KTM 250 EXC?
Thanks for the great video 👍 . Not just the sequence but also let me knew the way to remove/install bearing with toools in my toolbox (without special tools ). Big thanks again .💪💪💪💪💪
I'm rebuilding a 1986 YZ 125, started with the air filter that fell to pieces, it's hard finding one, UNI, came through, then the carburetor rebuild thinking it would just run afterwards, I put transmission oil in it, the oil overfill screw was missing, of course, goto put antifreeze/coolant in it and the drain bolt was missing and the casing on the shroud was busted at that screw as well, coolant just came right out lol. So anyway thank you for the video's, it makes it so much easier and helpful. I'm wondering after I get all that back together if it's gonna need a new piston head lol, fingers crossed I hope not.

I tightened the power-valve arm without holding it in place and as the arm went up it hit the top of the case and maxed out in order to tighten it do I have to pull it off again and check to see that it didn't pop out inside? Also in order to get the gears to line up I used my Kickstarter and slowly push down until the case went flush on if the water impeller moves good does that mean it's lined up with all gears? Any info would help thank you very much!

It seems that the Rocky Mountain website doesn't have Tusk water pump kits for Yamaha 4-strokes. Is this true? I have 2016 WR450F. Also, great video. Thank you.

How do you get the impeller off? I got the bike in gear but I cant stop the tire from turning and I'm turning it so tight I feel like I'm about to snap the propeller off
Hello my yz 125 takin water to my clutch case ? Is there any problem with my shaft or something like that i cant find where is the problem.Im waiting for your answers.Thank you.
*Hi Guyz Bro* In most cases the shaft is ok. You can buff the impeller shaft out with a scotch brite pad. Your water pump seals are what normally get worn out and need replacing. If you follow our how to video if will walk you through the process on how to get these replaced. Let us know if you run into any questions. /Thanks
Lol I was really wondering about the torque wrench that goes that low though... I just purchased a 2019 Honda rebel 300. I only put 300 miles on it...After every ride I can see leakage from the weep hole. Dealer claims they did a pressure test and saw no leaks..and a few drops is normal. I don't buy it...A few riders on the Honda Forum are experiencing the same thing...2 of them claim coolant was actually spraying out while riding...Could this be a manufacturers defect with the seals...Dealer advised me that they will not pursue further testing unless they see a puddle. My bike is still under warranty. .What advice could you give me ??? Thanks
*SkyView Drone Services* the process is very similar. We recommend you follow your bikes specific service manual and specifications. Thanks for watching!
That's pretty normal if you haven't ever been in there to clean it out. The powervalve gets lubricated with your pre-mix so it should have oil in there.
You forgot to mention when cle awning the case with anything abrasive to never clean or sand cross ways of the case because any cross ways scuffs or scratching can cause it to leak.
A slight amount of play in the impeller shaft is normal being they are only supported by one bearing. If yours isn't leaking or making noises, it's most likely normal. You can always check the service manual for your specific bike if it seems excessive.
@@rmatvmc perfect, I had a decent amount of play but once I installed the engine cover on the bike, it was significantly reduced. 👍. Bike is an 09 yz250 so essentially the same as in the video
