After several Haka vidoes...it is IMPOSSIBLE for the person teaching to restrain from the raw energy. I LOVE IT

Ka Mate is about a chief that saves the life of his enemy, the composer of this Ngere, Te Rauparaha. The chiefs name is Te Wharerangi of Motu-a-puhi on Rotoaira. He is my great great great great grandfather. Ten years after this event, he is murdered by those that sought to kill Te Rauparaha. This part of the korero is recorded in the Poutokomanawa at Okahukrua at Otukou marae. Ngati Toa and their Pakeha mates, don't tell people the entire story. They are disgusting wankers.

Hi, I'm a person with a extremely mixed heritage My mother is belgian and father australian, my grandmother half Scottish & Irish where my grandfather is half aboriginal and Australian (so very mixed it goes even further in their parents but we don't even know what they were 100%, anyway I'm very mixed and I respect all cultures and love learning and embracing them I was always amazed as a kid when I found out about mōari culture its people even kinda making me wish I was mōari born but I'm not and therefore I was always afraid to disrespect the culture and to learn the mōari language and speak it or even try and learn the haka, so I wanted to ask the community itself if it would be disrespectful in your peoples eyes, would be even tho I'm really mixed I still look like a typical "white Wester male" and as we all know they have a history in stealing culture or ruining it.
    Thank you for reading this!

I’m also Australian (F), no idea what my heritage is but I’m white as heck. I’ve always wanted to learn the haka but was worried about not only not being Maori but also being female.
I’ve recently learnt anyone can do it, as long as you don’t disrespect it, laugh etc ☺️
I can’t wait to learn now!
