I'd like to do something like your new EWI prototype, but I want to make the keys as analog inputs, so that I could do things like slide between notes more naturally. I've seen one that uses optical sensors (the Warbl) and I think this could be an option with the Klik system.
Hi Chris. I didn't know about the Warbl - looks cool! I did have a prototype of the OHMs (1 out of more than 20) which used optical sensors in the keys, but the circuit for that is much more complex than the capacitive key setup I use here, so it's out of the question for the KLIK, which is all about simplicity and ease of fabrication. However: The capacitive keys, if made and configured for it, can actually do what the Warbl keys do, which is read the presence of the finger even from a few millimeters distance. But again, that requires a lot of precision in the key construction, and that's really not what the KLIK is about. The KLIK software is put together specifically to work well even with less than perfect key construction.
@@rosemeriaparecidawasmuth6218 You don't need a computer. The KLIK can be powered by batteries, or a 5v source like a phone charger. It has synthesizers and audio on board, and there's a mini jack on board which you can plug in ear buds or powered speakers.
"But I dont know anything about music or electronics!"
"Can you glue cardboard?"
"...I guess..."
"You'll be fine..."
😅🎶

absolutamente awesomante! cómo van esos workshops man?
Gracias Fonso! Vamos a ver que tal este curso 🤞
WORKSHOPS!!!!!
Gonna be awesome!!
How can I buy the klik-2?
I'm afraid the KLIK2 has been discontinued. The KLIK3 is under development (slowly) and will be announced here on the channel.
all sold out? 🥺
KLIK3 beta coming soon. Stay tuned
l need a sd card to use the instrument without pc?
No, just plug in ear buds or powered speakers.
But I can use without PC?Or I need PC?
