As a long time fan of Mr. Miyagi and the Karate Kid franchise, bonsai trees mean a lot to me and this set is absolutely gorgeous
The instructions in the Lego manual could have been waaay clearer. And with larger images. They should do a Version 2 with improved instructions.
If you check the back of the instructions you'll see a bunch of example trees built by the same guy, and one of them features Pohatu Nuva masks for its leaves

I look at this, and this’ll make a good addition to my office.
I just bought it and am really excited for when it arrives. I also saw the variation of green leafs with the pink flowers and really liked this combination too. We'll see how it will blend into my appartment.

I love mine, because I love legos, I love Bonsai trees, and i hate having to take care of stuff. This is made of legos, its a Bonsai tree, and you dont have to take care of it!
I absolutely adore this set, but I have very mixed feelings about the loose tiles. I decided not to use them because I'm clumsy and I'd definitely send them flying all over my apartment. They do look nice, but I wish they came up with a different way to fill the space around the trunk.
I understand where you’re coming from. I knocked the tiles out swapping out the leaves and it was a pain to fix
