@ I think they got cute and out dumbed themselves. With Maye, they didn’t play games- they took the consensus pick. With Polk, they traded picks the try to get more and instead they got nothing. We’ll see if McDaniels can get anything out of him but I’m skeptical. Josh needs guys that are at least smart; so far I haven’t seen anything like that from Polk, much less Baker.

Theres history with Vrabel and McDaniels. I bet Vrabes had talks with several guys during his yr.in Clevland. Id guarantee M. Vrabel had an agreement with McDaniels in place already knowing he was getting this job. It all just worked out way to conveniently this offseason in acquiring Vrabel. Id even bet Vrabes talked to Kraft when there was roomers of the Krafts talking to teams around the NFL last season about a third of the way through the yr. Supposedly inquiring on what to do to help Mayo. Remember that? Both parties knew in advance this was going to be the outcome back in November/December. Maybe right after the team got smoked by the Jets. Lets see what yhey do in free agency.
