The offensive staff concerns are overblown. Just because Thomas Brown has never been on Josh’s staff before doesn’t mean he can’t be. He apparently had a great interview for OC. Teams hire guys that didn’t get the lead job all the time. It’s a great staff, and I hate the concerns because it’s not a bunch of Josh honks
I think Vrabel is going to be much more hands on as far as offensive philosophy and game day situational play calling than Mayo was. I’m actually optimistic about the assistant coaching hires
I agree Vrabel will be more hands on, but I think it will be more for defense to help out his 1st time DC. Mcdaniels has run an offense and is a very experienced and successful OC. So Vrabel shldnt really have to have too much involvement in the offense and that wld be a good thing
Restrepo does not have the speed or quickness of Edleman The Patriots need speed desperately. From what people down there are saying Tez Johnson has been uncoverable I don’t care how small he is if he can get open consistently
Screw the Patriots offense, the original Patriots dynasty was built on an elite defense that could stop Manning and high-powered offenses. To end Mahomes an elite defense has to emerge. Vrabel needs to build a defense and let Drake Maye game manage like early Brady
Back off you guy's but here we go again but Mike Vrabel knows who he wants and i trust him more much more than yours. Great staff and things are going to be much better. Just remember its not this year they're ready but we will get bett😂as year goes on but next year they will fear the patr😂
A friend of mine coaches Highschool in jersey, he was at Rutgers for a coaches camp. Bill was there with Brian, he told me when Brian spoke it sounded like he had 0 clue about football. I pushed back cause I like the guy but he swore he couldn’t speak in front of people
Going to miss Peligrino and Brian Belichick. The problem on defense was the front 7 the secondary was not the problem. The problems were that Dugger played hurt and no one listened to him that is on Covington and Mayo plus Peppers had his legal b.s. that kept him off the field
Now I get why people where saying that the press here in NE it's bs, there's just no way the team get's it right. We either don´t get enough new ideas or input from around the league, hiring always from the same tree, etc etc OR we get to much of fresh new ideas, there's no cohesion, they're not gonna go good togheter. Jesus, let them do their thing, trust the procces and when we get some results, then maybe talk all of this, freaking spoiled media
To be fair McDaniels doesn't have a lot of his guys available. Most of his guys are former Patriots coaches who are doing great at other places or are retired
I think the two coaches that weren’t brought back even if they did a good job. I think it was last year’s results and a culture change. And as far as the new offensive line coach being a little too harsh I’d like to remind you scar was known for being a dictator, and his guy loved him
You can sit here and complain about Bills drafting. But go ahead and defend last year's draft. It's not like it improved from previous years. Outside of Maye, it was one of the worst drafts I've ever witnessed.
Love Terrance Ferguson at Oregon for tight end. Great 4th/5th round option. And he’s huge.
I am very excited how fast the culture here shifts. I think Vrabel will get that fix pretty fast.

And whoever Vrabel hires we should trust because he is in the meetings with Josh and the candidates and they all know way more football than we do

Xavier Restrepo is the most old school Patriots slot receiver in this draft. He looks like Welker, Amandola, Edelman
Agreed! I think he'd be a great snag in the 2nd/3rd round
I rather have Bech than add another slot when they have Pop and who knows maybe McDaniels has some plans for Marcus Jones.
Not to mention Drake maye has shown a liking for throwing to big targets like the TE. Bech was one so it just makes lots of sense to me
Restrepo does not have the speed or quickness of Edleman The Patriots need speed desperately. From what people down there are saying Tez Johnson has been uncoverable I don’t care how small he is if he can get open consistently
Buggin I see what ur saying but he can play outside to
I would think that Vrabel and McDaniels discussed who they were going to hire.
Screw the Patriots offense, the original Patriots dynasty was built on an elite defense that could stop Manning and high-powered offenses. To end Mahomes an elite defense has to emerge. Vrabel needs to build a defense and let Drake Maye game manage like early Brady
Why can’t we just have an exciting offense for once?

Jaylyn Noel is prime JuJu Smith. He has some really nice contested catches double coverage.
Colorado Wrs, #5, #10, #14
Go watch the highlights.

Coaching gonna play out fine so overblown on two people I could possibly see even having a lil issues is Josh and Thomas brown

It was smart for the best receivers to skip the senior bowl because the qbs are just so bad. Still a fan of Royals, Higgins, and Restrepo (maybe)
TE Elijah Arroyo TE Mason Taylor Xavier
Restrepo
Sounds like we can only get our LT in FA
To be fair McDaniels doesn't have a lot of his guys available. Most of his guys are former Patriots coaches who are doing great at other places or are retired
So Mike has never coached, but questions a long time coach! Also he’s worried about hurt feelings.

Marcus Yarns to the Patriots
Were you thinking Emery Jones?
JC the commercials! You guys aren’t the Super Bowl!
RT for LSU
I forget were you all high on McConkey considering how Patriots passed on him and doubled up later with Polk and Baker?

The Super Bowl sucks a@@! It’s a clear KC win. Hurts is way overrated and chokes.
Mike Giradi really be crying about little tid bit shit it’s annoying to listen to
Boring
