Bloody cracking video mate, always love a bit of glass action! Probably one of the best trucks to see on it as well, made for a very enjoyable video! I especially love the units with shared bins being full, I recently filmed one of Veolias Ivecos as you know on rural recycling where half the bin is full with wine bottles and it rattles the whole neighbourhood, I reckon if they had glass collections everyone would go deaf 🤣🤣 farken oath it would sound good though! Unfortunately one bin I saw was filled with trash, always the few people who couldn't give a damn. Great filming mate, cheers! 🤙
Thanks mate, I was quite happy when I saw this unit out, the blue signage pairs really nicely with the purple lids, quite a few unit shared bins here, makes for some full ones and more noise, I must catch up on that video sometime soon. Could imagine the noise being rural, lots of alcoholics out that way enjoying the views 😂 Most people around here seem to be getting it right, but there are the few that can’t get it right, I could tell it was contaminated as soon as the grabs closed and there wasn’t any noise, the look on my face when I saw the crap pouring out into the hopper, couldn’t really do much about it then.. the drivers are pretty much advised to pick up bins with whatever in them, seems stupid, but some drivers have their own ways of dealing with contamination, such as tipping the bin over and leaving the contents spilled all over the footpath for the residents to recover 😂 Cheers!

Most people seem to get it right but there will always be the few who either don’t know, or the more likely option of don’t care. @@PerthAussieGarbo0759 half the problem is that there is no one assigned to do glass full time, they have been short drivers for 2 years now. Glass is the lowest priority as residents can wait a few days for it to be emptied, it’s quite common for glass to be a few days behind and collections on Saturday. My glass has been done on a Saturday 6 times in a row now. Some weeks are better than others, in some cases a Melbourne driver will come and do glass after completing their own runs. Just depends on what drivers are available and which area has glass that week.

Some weeks are better than others, in some cases a Melbourne driver will come and do glass after completing their own runs. Just depends on what drivers are available and which area has glass that week.
