In this episode, we say “au revoir” to the Renault R5 Maxi as it temporarily leaves our shop to get media-blasted and epoxy-coated. Before it does, our fabricators put final welds on all the rare reinforcement plates we installed in the last video and disassemble the custom cage we built for this future rally-racer. Will it get painted soon after the cage installation?

Before we put the cage in, there are a lot of small spots we have to address on the chassis, but once we're done and the cage is back in/fully welded, we won't be tremendously far from letting the paint guys do their thing!
