I'll never forget the first time a audiophile friend brought over a old Primaluna Prologue Pre amp with just standard Primaluna tubes (way below and much older than the Evo 200 pre amp).
Absolutely, made a complete mockery of my prized Pass Labs X2.5 pre and Pass Labs XP-10 pre amps.
Three audiophiles in my room that day (not including the Prologue owner). Three instant orders made for new Primaluna Evo 400 pre amps (my order included).
I replaced the factory issued tubes in the Evo 400 with first all new Genalex tubes, then New Old Stock tubes.. Holy Mary... Audio Nirvana!!!
Keep preaching Kevin.. I know the passion. I feel it every time I listen to my Primaluna Pre amp.

I had a VTL TL 2.5 preamplifier that I recently sold because I could no longer tolerate its hum and mic effect. Do you think this preamplifier will fit my VTL ST 85 power amplifier, I like it and I would like to keep it for myself. There is no way to take a listen to your home, you have to buy
