    I am an Office fan, and I keep re-watching it so of course I'm interested on what Rainn does. But isn't this man interesting? I mean I can imagine not being an Office fan and still be listening to him because everything that he says is interesting and funny, he's got this weird combination of a wise and funny personality that I like a lot.

    Rainn was great in The Office,.....his character, ( well the writing) really made him semi despicable,.....the worlds best, "suck up",......Was too funny. The Michael Scott character was also well portrayed. Luckily in my real life I only worked in an office, a few times, as "temp." When I eventually found the job I was best suited for, I worked as a picture framer and framing sales-person. I have a BFA in Fine Arts,....and I was Fine Arts print maker. My coworkers were all very cool people,...many were also trained in the Fine Arts. We almost always got along.

    Super is one of the best super-hero movies ever made. Rainn's speech before killing the bad guy is one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever. We have a really a soft-edged idea of morality and ethics, but the truth of the matter is sometimes the right thing is just as unpleasant and dark as the wrong one.

    2022,....I was really enjoying Backstrom,..before it disappeared or was cancelled. I love a flawed, drug taking, drunken, quirky, detective with an uncanny ability to solve murders. I liked the supporting actors, as well.

    Another thing Kevin does often is, he talks shit about what previous guests said on the show, when apparently agreeing with them and with what they are saying while they were there. This time was Michael Chicklis, but he did the same thing with Dan Harmon, Steven Webber...

      What a shame that I had to stop watching the interview and finally lose this bookmark after that comment. At least KP is still self-aware enough to realize that most of us don't even make that in a year.

      Do you know how much money movies make? I think that more of the money should have gone to the crew, but if you're helping to potentially bring in a buttload of cash you deserve to get paid.

      Stuie Malan is right about this. Also, most actors don't work for long periods of time between projects. In the lean years they have to live off what they make in the fat ones.

    Bringing up Chip Esten and then mentioning Nashville and not Whose Line is it Anyway is just wrong. Though I blame Cory. I feel like Sam would have had the presence of mind to say something.

    Not that it matters, but Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet" in the 1590's was adapted from Arthur Brooke's "The Tragic History of Romeus and Juliet" in 1562 based on another version by Luigi da Porto in 1524 taken from the first adaption by Masuccio Salernitano in 1476 of Ovid's "Pyramus and Thisbe", published in 8AD - the earliest known version of the story.
    Whether he wrote it or not, Romeo and Juliet is just a crappy remake of Pyramus and Thisbe.

    The "Rooster" story alone is worth the episode. I had no idea the acting community was talking Shit about McConaghey. I know that Oscar speech was dumb, but I thought he was better regarded in the industry.

    • @minimaxi1358
      @minimaxi1358 9 років тому

      Kevin Pollak isn't the "acting community". He's a D lister. And obviously jealous as fuck of McConaughey.

    • @TruthIsNeverGossip

      Mini Maxi They both worked with him, they must know better than you or me.

    • @minimaxi1358
      @minimaxi1358 9 років тому

      Yeah and if you listen they both say he's a very nice guy, gentle, sweet, etc. Pollak's crack about McC being crazy is just criticizing his Oscar speech. So, McC makes lousy speeches, doesn't mean he's crazy. The guy could have been overcome by emotion and I assume he was.

    • @minimaxi1358
      @minimaxi1358 9 років тому

      One thing I read: McC was still filming Interstellar when the Oscar was awarded. If you've seen Interstellar 1) his speech makes more sense and 2) the guy must have been exhausted between shooting Interstellar for 6 months and Oscar campaigning. He gets a pass in my book.
