Look good. I put one up and didnt put a board over the wall. Lag bolts didn't stay. I'm gonna redo it the way you have it done. So thanks for the tip.
ya its hard to do it with no board because the track never lines up to the studs.

You used a standard door to keep it simple but ripped out all the trim lol there is no need to remove the trim at all. You might as well have put a nice door in since you removed the trim.

Yes that's what you need.. light weight .. if you don't it will keep going and slam into the stopper.. light is better for things like barn doors..

A barn door is not a Barnwood door. A Barnwood door slides back and forth on a rail system. A barn door goes on a barn. Usually, in the public's eye, a barn is a big red. With a steep roof to keep animals in. Only city folks think a barn door is a Barnwood door. Second, off a Barnwood door is fresh and shiny wood from Lowe's or Home Depot. A real barn door is with whatever you can come with on the property. Every real barn door is under $10. except for the hinges.
This is the reason why when you type in barn door. You get nothing but Barnwood door. Because city folk think they're the same. now! I wouldn't of blasted you if you had said Barnwood door. And I had not been looking for pole barn door designs for the last 2 hours finding BARNWOOD DOORS ONLY
