I've been thinking about the EMVIO screenset for my Syil X7 LNC5800. How smoothly did the process go?

The process was smooth. The EMVIO team walks you through the process via a video call. They teach you how the screenset works and answer questions.

@@MrSmith1231 Thanks. The native screens are lack-luster, but do the job. I had to modify the tool change macro so I could have more than the 12 tools in the magazine. Now if you want tool 45, it puts away tool 2 and presents itself for you to insert 45. Then back to tool 2, it presents and you take out 45, and then it goes and gets tool 2 from the mag. The 12 tool limit was driving me crazy. Maybe a different way to do it with the slot numbers, but I could never figure that part out.

it only probes 1 tooth? unless the others are exactly the same, wouldn't it be inaccurate bc of the other 3 teeth?

Yeah, it's not the most robust. You can run the routine for each insert and then manually average or choose the longest length.
