Yes I mistakenly associated Peyton Manning with the Chiefs later on in this video when he should've been associated with the Colts. The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes who is really good at football so the mistake really isn't a big deal.
I gotta say, Barry is completely wrong about Payton Manning. I mean, if you look at his time in Kansas City, we find 0 TD’s, 0 Yards, a 0-0 record, 0 playoff appearances, the definition of awful. His time in Indiana, on the other hand…
@whatssogoodaboutindy6696 He's an Eagles fan. In his mind anything associated with the Giants deserves all the disrespect. He'll never acknowledge his mistake, he'll claim he did it on purpose and it could even be true.
2002, Vick wins a playoff game. 2003, Vick gets injured, team goes 2-10 without him. Vick returns and wins 3 of the last 4. 2004, Vick leads the Falcons to a bye and an NFCCG appearance. You underrate the hell out of Vick

Love the content Barry! I had an idea for a video yesterday if you ever need one and happen to see this: Best QB and WR Pairs that never won a Super Bowl together. Combinations like Tom Brady and Randy Moss, Big Ben and AB, and Aaron Rodgers and Davonte Adams come to my mind.
Jameis’ time with the Bucs was really interesting. He can make plays like that time where he dodged three dudes and ran over another one to save a play. Or the times when he’d absolutely rip the ball down field and be absolute money. Then he’d shit the bed almost on queue. He will keep getting NFL jobs because we’ve all seen the ceiling for him and it’s insane, he has generational QB talent but just can’t figure out consistency and how to use the extreme talent he has
I grew up in the 80s in Colorado so I saw Elway on TV pretty much every week. He did carry that team back then. And 80s QBs don't have modern stats because they also got shivved on nearly every play, because defenses were allowed to carry actual weapons back then. Or so it seems. I can't stand Elway because he's genuinely an asshole, cheated on his wife and pursued lots of 19 year old girls, but the Broncos would have been irrelevant in the 80s without him.
I still don’t understand how Barry doesn’t realize by now that Bryce’s bad season is because of how bad the team surrounding him is, not how bad he is. Of course he’ll never acknowledge that because he has a huge bias against Bryce q
Bryce should show more flashes at least, he’s got horrible pocket presence and his arm should be stronger and when he scrambles I get scared he’ll shatter himself.
@@SW.Productions I didn’t say no flashes, I said he needs more, also a “fine arm” it’s average at best and average should be better for a first overall pick. Pocket presence is subject to change with a new o-line I’ll admit.
@@user-ff5pd5ml7o His pocket presence is amazing. Go look at his highlights at Bama, especially his TD pass against LSU in 2022. He never underthrows receivers. We’re in a time where any QB that can’t effortlessly throw the ball 70+ yards in the air is considered a “weak arm”
Um bro, im pretty sure Peyton Manning was a Jaguar. Im 99.9% he played in the AFC South as a Jaguar not the AFC West Chiefs. He made my Jaguars unbelievable while he was there. After his neck injury, im 99.9% sure he went to the Chargers and won another Superbowl there due to the best defensive player that year, Nathan Peterman.
my thing with joe burrow is: why does he generally dodge the “injury-prone” label but tua doesn’t when burrow has missed more games to injuries than tua?
It's not fair to discredit Eli's Super Bowl saying he won it on the back of his defenses. They sure as hell played a major role in it. But he still had to go against the defensive goat coach whose defense was top-ranked. He put up similar stats to Brady in the Super Bowl and played better than Big Ben who people consider better in both Super Bowls. I'm pretty sure in 2007 The Buccs and Pats defenses were in the top 5 with Green Bay somewhere in the top 10. People would view Eli differently if the Giants did not become a dumpster fire after Jerry Reese took over. He kept them relevant, and we see what the giants look like without him.
As an Eagles fan I always will appreciate Vick’s comeback against the Giants for Miracle at the Meadowlands II. He had talent and was like Randall Cunningham but just couldn’t get the elusive ring. Still one of the best and while Young and Cunningham were some of the first mobile quarterbacks, Vick is the best known and standard to go by.
The thing about Cam Newton no one ever seems to mention is that he took alot of hits and most likely has CTE. He went from a tank of a man to a shriveled up vegan and started wearing willy Wonka clothes.
I was one of the only few people saying that Trevor Lawrence at best would be an above average QB in the league (like Derek carr level) and everyone said that was the worst take ever. If Lawrence doesn't do good this year I will be so happy.
My girlfriend’s husband keeps asking me if he can borrow the iPad to watch these videos. I told him that I would have to check the content to see if it’s appropriate for him. I will be sure to allow my girlfriend’s husband to watch these videos while I help her with cleaning her bedroom.
Hey Barry, I feel like something that would help your review counts you’ve been talking about is simply expanding on your thoughts more; in this video alone, you described half the quarterbacks as “having a weird career”
Winston’s 30/30 season was from trying to please Bruce Arians’ “no risk it no biscuit” offense. Brady scrapped that offense mid season, ran the offense he ran at the Patriots, the Bucs started winning & won the SB in 2020. Winston doesn’t get enough credit.
The issue with Bradford is that, while yes hes a bust and yes he has porcelain knees and was hurt a lot... When he was healthy, pre-knees-exploding, you could clearly see there was a good QB in there. He never reached that point because injuries piled up, but he dodged the bust allegations by clearly being talented, jsut unlucky.
Newton is my favorite player oat but at the same Time he shoulda been a more efficient passer I think he was always better with taller possession wide outs were he can throw it from a condense pocket and put it were only the wr could get it
I always wondered how things would have gone if the 49ers hadn't traded Alex Smith. He probably wouldn't have won them a Super Bowl either, but the changing of QB timeslines for San Francisco and Kansas City would surely have changed the face of the league.
Fouts vs. Strock in the '81-82 playoffs was a great duel too. Except for yardage, Strock actually outperformed Fouts in Miami's overtime loss to the Chargers.
John Elway is also bumped up by refusing to go to the then abysmal Baltimore Colts. That trade landed him on a Denver team that, as we know now, was able to get themselves to back to back SB wins as compared to a colts franchise that would have to move in the dead of night and reset themselves in Indianapolis to still not earn another ring for another 25 years thereafter.
Yeah in 2002 the Steelers made Vick look like a HOF QB in the only tie that season between the Falcons and the Steelers. Also Bradshaw on top of him winning SB MVP also was the 1st QB at the time to pass for over 300yds in a SB. Also Peyton Manning turned his career around after his rookie year when he set the rookie record for most Ints thrown.
Im glad you made the comments you did about akmin. Because you had just gotten done talking about how eli was helped by his defense, which was true to an extent and then began praising one of the most well surrounded qbs in nfl history in aikman. So i had to see where it went from there. Id personally say that elis superbowl runs were more impressive than aikmans, but i cant disagree that aikmans career looked better, even if it was only because he had nothing but hall players around him, where as eli was throwing his most important passes to guys like david tyree and dominick hixon most of his career
In terms of Kyler, if the Cardinals were picking top 3 this year they would have gone with QB, but they’re okay with giving Kyler the weapon that MHJ is and seeing what they get.
As a colts fan I too also associate Peyton manning with the chiefs. He is through and through a Kansas City chief. What a bridge for the chiefs to go from manning to mahomes.
