Great video. I’m in the process of fixing up an old pw80 off of Craigslist. They are great little bikes. Kids love it. Runs great now and just did the rear tire. I may do the front sprocket as well

@@TonyMontana-lh5bp Yes, the new gearing is significantly better for the riding this bike sees. I can now run through all 3 gears in the back yard, stay in the powerband in 2nd, and rip wheelies in 1st.
@@BennyObscene thanks for the response. Glad to hear it worked out. I'll be ordering sprockets later this week. Could you have dropped the teeth count on the front more than you did?

How much better did the bike feel? With the sprocket
Well worth the effort. A little 2 stroke like this needs to be in the power band, and this gearing perfectly suits laps around the backyard.

@@ollies6772 Yes I had to adjust the wheel back afterwards
Geeze rookie, how many tire levers do you need ;-)

So are you happy with the gearing results?? I'm considering doing the same.

@@TonyMontana-lh5bp probably not
That tire is like new dont know why you changed it
The tread was there but there 20 years old cracked and the compound isn't soft anymore. A new tire isn't that expensive lol
