Totally! Sometimes behind singers I'll just play a bass line for part of the tune, it can be great to mix in as a variation! Then later if you ever play bass guitar you'll already know the part!

I found this very interesting. I could never play the bass line to Fever. You teach very well & now I can play the first key. Excellent teaching.
