- With the epic opening of Captain America: Civil War, Joe & Anthony Russo have completed an unlikely journey from directors of lively, rule-breaking independent films and TV series to creative leaders of the defining blockbuster franchise of our era. This unique Conversation considers the brothers’ extraordinary output as skilled producers and directors of comedies, dramas and superhero slugfests alike.

okay, did NYC like build 4 more bridges within just a couple years after this? Joe references the "17 Bridges" film they were producing, the Chadwick Boseman thriller I just finally watched a couple months ago (and it's pretty good), but it wound up as "21 Bridges".
