I remember how frustrating was spider at the beginning, then again in stage 15 and once more in 19, so thank you for this video because I know there are a lot of people around there struggling with this dungeon.

Thank you! This was better than another video of yours about spider dungeon! As I mentioned elsewhere... Idk but Why does every UA-camr think all the players are at their Level?? My Character is L29! My Best Team, according to my strategy in Classic Arena is a 21k; with UDK R5.A5.L50 with Flesheater, Rock-Tooth, and Magma-Blood, all R4.A(2-3).L30+. It's an awkward team compared to what I've seen, but It's beat many on the Arena in Silver 1-2, and I'm comfortable with it. Partly cause UDK has Life Steal and Divine Offense sets, all Epic, and Flesh Eater has an Epic 4 pc Regen Set! Magma Has a Retaliation Set. All those buffs they generate, and I've positioned them to play in right order, UDK Rats Off hits like a nuke on my turn two (usually) with Atk and Crit buffs added, and I do well 4 out 5 Arena matches! BUT... This team can't get past L3 in the Spider Dungeon.
Some of those I mentioned have AOE. Flesh-eater has a team buff atk. My normal routine, if I get all my 4 in play as I expect (on Arena anyway), UDK first with Shield/Heal buff. Flesh 2nd with Atk buff. Rock 3rd with AOE atk which has team Crit buff (an attack all and buff team in one shot? YES!). Magma 4th with the AOE meteor strike using attk and crit buff! Than UDK on t2 with Rats off! In most Arena fights, if I haven't slaughtered all the Champs, they're all critically wounded, and it's easier to pick them apart. Does it work always, no, but I'd say 3 or 4 out of every 5 of my attacks on arena, I win. That said, it did work on Spiders 1 and 2. But by Spider 3? It did not! I failed. UDK surprisingly fell first in round 3 or 4, but after all the poison debuffs he had, makes sense. I tried to see how long I'd last, only few more rounds, trying to focus my attacks on the main spider! I done enough dungeons (I habitually raid most low dungeons for potions, etc), to know, at boss level, kill boss and Dgn is done. With UDK, even with low rank companion champs (fattening the cows), I do well in most dungeons shy of Spider, Dragon or FKC!
After watching this, I'll look to building new team, if nothing else, but for Dungeons. I do have Elhain, R4.A4.L25! I also have Zeph Sniper, R4.A4.L14. They both seem to be too squishy against higher creatures, which is why I leaned towards the beefy Ogryns I mentioned. I have others, like Warpriest, no AOE, but buff all atk. She not ascended yet, she doesn't have the heal all, just the 1. So I don't use her any more. I have Crusader, whom I like, has the ally atk move, he's at R4.A4.L26, but I don't use him much anymore. Another I liked early, but seems to squishy, is Conqueror, with an anti buff attk, and also depuff hp attack, but hasn't been too successful in any combo's. I've used. I have a few Rangers, one at R3 no A, 14 or so, and a few lower lvl Rangers for food. Most my remaining champs I have for food, all low level.
Team building? I don't have much of strategy! I use UDK farming campaign and dugeons for potions and gear, with Rank 1-3 accompanied. Those I use as food for others, i leave alone at level 1 of their rank. No point in leveling them up if someone going to eat em. Some I choose to level up, stay at L1 for R2 or 3, again, so others at rank can feed them... UDK is my only Legendary atm, only cause this process takes forever to get more R5's at his level to eat! And I want other R5's to accompany UDK, so he's not the only R5 in a fight, so it's definitely a long devious process...
All that to explain to you where I'm at in game, and why I struggle in Spider at L3! I simply don't have the right team! It'd be nice to find a Clan I can join and actually be helpful! I've tried TWO so far, and both have simply ignored me or seem dead after I joined! I'm hoping the whole game is not like that! It'd be nice to meet others on game I can ask questions with on occasion!

I've heard Occult B is better if you don't have a counter attacker (also man you got lucky lol I got 3 epics but none from the 10x and none are an improvement to what I had)

Anyone with a productive A1 will be be better in a counter set up. So in your case, OB is stronger.

One thing I will say is, although I agree with your point about campaign farming, a BELLOWER in a STUN set is well worth farming FIRE KNIGHT for early game. I romped thru brutal in 2 hours once I added him in a stun set.
Love this FTP series. Pretty soon I'll be able to make the most of it because you'll be caught up to where I am. Your progress has been amazing. I'm at lvl 50 right now but your FTP account is probably behind mine just by a little bit because I've made lots of mistakes that slowed my progress lol. I do have Kael, Warmaiden and High Khatun at 6 now though.
When I had absolutely nothing but starter champ as aoe I made 2 shieldguards, put 4* reflex gear on, later on did some grinding to get cycle of violence on both - they got me to spider 11 i think. They both are only lvl 50, honorary vault guardians.
RN I'm upgrading Santa and will spend my remaining 6 books on him, if 2 land in his A3 - he'll run unkillable CB, if A2 cd reduces - he's Spider shielder. Don't have MM to do it.

shield set is actualy the best set in game... you just need to put it on right person. Hp based support. for example pain keeper is best early champ for it or Apo. And just go for as much HP as possible. No dmg on them. The best par is, Pain keeper dmg on A2 is based on her HP ;) Also the healing. So its win win.

If you are going to do a F2P video, use 100% F2P champs.
Sister Militant - common - aoe lvl 40 (can later use as ranking food or in factions with stun gear) use duplicates to upgrade skills
Saurus - uncommon - aoe x 2 lvl 40 (can later use as ranking food or factions with stun gear) use duplicates to upgrade skills
Valerie - rare - shield, buffs + buffs duration lvl 40 (drops from campaign)
Spirithost - rare - buffs, cleanses, speed aura lvl 30 is enough (pretty sure every player gets her early on)
Your starting champ - lvl 40
im on day 4 rn and my current spider team is Kael Lead, Warmaiden, Valerie/Warpriest (depends on shields/heal or attack/heal) and finally Zephyr Sniper and Saurus for AOE Damage

Thanks HH! great tips! but when would you say someone should start farming spider, I haven't started yet but I have a 6s Kael and Zargala on my spider team, atm I also use bellower, High Khatun mostly just for speed, and a tayrel. Cant get past stage 10
I know your doing free to play but you should mention the 2100 gems for 10$ 50 each day. Only purchase I made and it’s great getting those each day. Some of us are f2p but spend a few bucks once in awhile.
Can you do a how to get ot silver 1? Hard stuck on there for the mission or look at my account and tell me how bad i fd up xD or what to do
He will. Really it's not that easy to get to Silver until you have most of your arena team at 60. Maybe not your speed booster but you need your damage dealers to be maxed out on level to pack a great punch. I would guess he's going to show us that video when he hits 30-40 days and has been able to get High Katun and level her to 30 and stack with speed gear.

Totally agree with playing on manual sometimes. People are just a bit lazy these days, too much instant gratification. Manual is a great way get feel for your teams, diagnosing problems and fixing them.
Hey HH, out of all the starters, Kael is actually the best for aoes, even better than Elhain why? His aoe can be a 2 turn cd if he kills 4 ppl.
More great content. Cuz this will help the mid gamers also. Which is where i feel i am right now.
At what point do you move to dungeon farming instead of farming brutal speed/lifesteal boss?

HH, your videos are very good and imo the best guides on the web. But could you pls ask contend creators to make 5 star chickens available in some way. The reason why all FTP guys quit is the time and effort it takes to take one champ to lvl 60. It is insane. I know you guys get some for free, but ftp guys are quitting because of this. thx a lot.

hi HH i have been playing for 3 months already , i can farm dragon 15 , fireknight 14(just for mission), have lots of aoe 6 star champion but i can manual stage 10 spider in almost 18 min. ,not on auto . Aoe just doesnot work for me and i put some suport like steelskull, apothecary, prince kymar all of them 6 star , just today i tried armiger lv50 and allure lv 50 in some combinations for turn meter control , but i can only farm stage 9 .Should i put more support or aoe atacks in order to get through stage 10 on auto. thanks in advance

This is not early game. you have 6 star champions. I"ve only been playing 4 days. all other dungeons are up to stage 7 but i can beat spider stage 3
