Pretty awesome guide. I find ultimate DK a great tool to absorb all the spider's poison because even when they attack someone else, he takes it. He has an aoe decrease attack which can be useful.
Royal Guard is also an interesting MAX HP nuker, which also has some turn meter manipulation, but of course he falls short of coldheart

My old team actually had armiger as a tank as miscreated was protecting and he could heal off deacon leech with A2 😂

I would recommend booking him if you can. He’s actually a very powerful champion. I use him in my Doomtower Hard wave team. Top Tier crowd control champion. However, with all this said, he can be used without books. His a2 will steal 100% turn meter regardless. But getting his cooldowns reduced makes him far more powerful.
very nice but the name dropping is kind of hard to follow for newer players, war master and giant slayer for extra damage? and the champion names, takes a few to know which one you're talking about.
Warmaster and Giant Slayer are tier 6 masteries from the offense tree
Nice Guide, thou I have a few more suggestions / tips.
Spider 20 may work like that, but in Late / Endgame when you farm Spider 25, that team wont work as well, and / or take way to long.
I will tell a few Teams and the end.
For now and also easy to get HP Burner, that many forget, is Akoth from the Doomtower Fragments.
Personaly I know of several Teams that work in Spider 25, some are fast, some are slow, but all have a 99% Win rarte.
While your Breakdown is easy to understand, and mostly Accurate, you forgot one thing it only works easy up to Spider 20.
At Spider 21 up to 25 things become a bit more Problematic.
The Spider Passiv Skills change. Enemy MAX HP Skills can not exeed 10% of the Spiders HP.
And all Turn Meter Controll is Reduced by 50% when used against the Boss (In this case the Spider)
Teams I recomend, if you have the Champs:
Team one:
Paragon (lvl 30 Unbooked at around 161 Speed, and Lead. Low HP and Def. In Auto mode he will give himself Unkillable first, after that the UK Buffs goes to someone else)
Renegade / Yumeko / Prince Kaymar for skill reset. (Auto setup: A1 Opener, then Reset, around 200 Speep and at least double the HP of Paragon)
Mordecai / Drextar / Akoth. (HP Burn nuff said, double HP of Paragon, around 250 ACC, 300 is best)
2x Cold Heart (Both Cold Hearts with 250% Crit dmg, 70% Crit Rate, 180 Speed and in Reflex Set. Disable A2 in Team Setup.)
That team runs at around 30-40Seconds in Spider 25
Thats the team I use at the moment my self, because I don't have a Sicia to make the 10 Sec team.
Team 2:
Sicia (Sicia needs to go after Mordecai. With that she can use her A2 I believe to Instant activate HP Burn on all enemy)
Mordecai /Akoth / Drextar (HP Burn)
High Kathun (Speed Aura, Increase Speed and decrease Speed. A2 as opener)
Yumeko / Renegade / Prince Kymar (Skill reset, what else? IF Prince Kymar, he also brings an AoE Sleep for CC)
The team is Set up meant to be an around 10 Second Spider 25 farm. But requieres High Speeds.
The Speed tune is here, relativly free. Only thing you need to watch out for, is hat Sicia goes AFTER your AoE HPb Burner and Yumeko / Renegade / Kymar reset the skills AFTER Sicia's turn.
Team 3 (Slow but effectiv):
Scyle of Drakes
High Kathun / Aphotecary (IF Siphi is in Posetion, use Siphi, I tell in a Second)
Armiger
Armiger
Shield Guard
This team is a bit Strange but effectiv. Scyle of Drakes is put in Stun Set, same with High Kathun, with that, most of the time the Spiderlings get perma Stun.
The 2 Armigers you disable their A2, simple because Turn meter Control on Spider 25 is Halved. Meaning that one Armiger only reduces 15% Turnmeter instead of 30%.
The Shield Guard is build Purly on Dmg. His A2 is and AoE Hit, place him in Stun Set for extra Spiderling Stuns, and slowly tickle the spider to Deatch. The 2 Armiger and Shieldguard need Warmaster.
IF you have Siphi, then use Siphi instead of High Kathun, while you lose a Stuner, you gain Turnmeter fill, Block Debufss, Increase Speed and Increase Def. Increase Def can help here wonderfully as Armiger, Shieldguard and Scyle do damage based on DEF.
Team 3:
Sinesha
Ashak
Mordecai / Akoth / Drextar
2x Cold Heart
Team comb is relativly Beginner friendly. Sinesha, who is Negativ Affinity here, needs to be extremly Tanky. And I mean at least 45-50k HP, 300+ Res, 180+ Speed and all that in a Stun Set / Life steal Set. Sineshas only purpose in this set up is to Tank the Spiderlings, and Possibly stun them if she is in Stun set, just for safty.
Ashak is a Demonspawn Epic with an Dual A2. What I mean with that is: If the enemy has Higher ATK then Def, Achal places a Freeze Debuff, if the ATK is Lower then the DEF Achak places HP Burn. In case with the Spiderlings Achak will freeze them. Your AoE HP Burner is self explained. The Cold hearts, again both if possible in Reflex Set, need to be set up with 1 Turn difference, in Team Setup that means Cold Heart 1 Heart Seeker Opening and Cold Heart to A1 Opening. After that they run Auto, however disable Cold Hearts A2.
That team is a bit Slower, at around 2-4 Minutes, depending on you gear. It failed me 2 times out of a 100 Runs, mostly because of the 3% Chance the Spider will resist the Turn meter down from Cold Heart.
This was intended to be a beginner’s guide. Not an end game speed farming guide. I appreciate your feedback though. Thank you.
@@TheAdventuresOfAdam As a Beginners Guide, I would have Suggested Warmaiden, cause she is a farmable Champ. Valerie as well, she brings a Good Shield and a Buff Extender. Heck, for Speed you could even go with Diabolist. Combining Valerie, Diabolist, Warmaiden and Armiger, all of them easy to get, you just need one more Champ for HP Burn or Poison. That would be Beginner and F2P Friendly.
I don’t have any of those champions built. I am free to play. And I am not in the Raid Content Creator program. I do not have the means to level champions I will never use again just to make a guide. There is nothing wrong with the champions I chose. Especially is you pay attention to what I say in the guide about filling roles. The specific champions are irrelevant as long as all the roles are filled. But if you disagree, I’ll look forward to watching your spider guide when it comes out. Maybe you can show me how to do it the right way. Cheers!
@@TheAdventuresOfAdam DOn't think me making a Guid is a Good Idea. For one, my English isn't good enough for that. Second, the Gear is a huge differance. I pretty much, after nearly 3 Years, have not Beginner or mid tier gear left, only 6Star Epic and Up. And btw, I'm F2P myself, just afew years of game play, where u start too max CHamps out of boredom.
But we will see, Christma end of the Year I get my new GPU, maybe I d a guide.. Sadly my GTX 1050 can't handle OBS and RSL at the same time^^'

Great guide and I like that you showed off multiple types of teams. I'm still hoping to get a coldheart at some point but I will definitely look into yakarl. Will you be doing an advance guide video for the dungeon 25 runs? It would be cool to see what I could tweak to make it better/more consistent/faster.
That’s not a bad idea. One of the main things I do on my channel is Account Takeovers. I try to do them as often as I can because the sign up sheet keeps getting longer and longer. I decided to take a break from them this weekend and just focus on regular dungeon guides though. But that is something I will likely do in the future.

Cool vid ! I struggled with Spider for a long time and finally got a team going with Mordecai, maneater, 2 Coldhearts and renegade (Kymar A1) wasn’t allowing me to do it with him

I maxed apo before high khatun and you use her in almost all your guides
Apothecary is a fine champion. He’s a good, well rounded support. But from the perspective of a speed champion, High Khatun just offers so much more. If you have a champion that can place decrease speed on enemies and a champion who has an all battles speed aura Apothecary can work as your speed champion. I just love using High Khatun because she offers all these things in one package, PLUS brings additional turn meter control on her a3. She is a specialist and Apothecary is a hybrid. That’s the biggest difference. He’s not bad, I just like HK more, that’s all.
Hey I like your video on defeating the spider. I must be doing something wrong. I have the champions that you have him up to 60 and I can’t get that far with spider. Maybe I have the wrong gear. I have all that masteries up so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. If you could give me some tips I would appreciate that.

I want to ask you this for so long how does the main spider is getting damaged by trunda I mean she's not putting any hp burned on the main spider but still it's getting more damage from those small ones and now I understand how it works

One of the other "big name" creators said that HP burn isn't useful until something like 13 (?). I don't remember exactly.
You don't need HP burn champions on early stages of spider. Any aoe and turn meter control champs just enough to do the job done perfectly tho.
For early levels of spider, often times it's just easier to aoe damage the spiderlings down. But HP Burns deal 3% of the boss's max HP regardless of the stage you are on. It doesn't look like much on the lower stages, but it is exactly the same from a % of max hp perspective.
I gotta ask if you don't have hp burn ive seen videos recommend heal reduction and some kind of aoe stuffinstead since queen heals when killing other spiderlings could that work
@@PraskaBruce unfortunately she is immune to heal reduction. The best way to keep her from healing is to control her turn meter. Beyond stage 15 it becomes very difficult to AoE the spiderlings down. I would highly recommend working towards getting Drexthar from the tag arena bazaar if you don’t have HP burn. He’s a beast of a carry in many areas.

@@PraskaBruce if I’m being perfectly honest, I’m a little over Raid. Don’t play it like I used to. There is a new game being made by content creators from the Raid community. The game is called Godforge, and I’ve been covering it on my channel. It’s meant to come out next summer and it looks to be quite promising.
I'm trying to build my spider 24 team around Mordecai and Achak, the latter is a nasty demonic bitch that heals every time an enemy with HP burn takes a turn and boosts turn meter every time an enemy with freeze take a turn :D I just need a solid tank to live through the fight. Thinking Krisk, Renegade and Armiger, though Krisk is unbooked and Renegade remains to be 6 starred and is still veeeery squishy
Mordecai can be your tank if you build him for it

@@nayrb7705 I would recommend not focusing on dungeons too much until you have a full team of 5 level 60 champions. For now, focus on beating Brutal campaign and getting your first level 60. It’s a hefty grind, but the pay off is worth it.

What about Pit Fighter 50% Turn Metter down ?
It’s not horrible, but it’s on a 3 turn cooldown. Armiger can do it every turn. It adds up to more turn meter reduction over the course of the fight.
Hello, I have khatun armiger and death knight but I don't have any hp burn or freeze hero I only have Coffin Smasher and graybeard I'm stuck in spider 10. I have warmaiden 60 kael 60 Priest Orn 60 with max masteries and max skill.
For the earlier stages of spider, it’s generally better to try AoE damage to kill each wave of the spiderlings.

i have not found a single spider vid that actually helps me. tells me to use champs that i just dont have or for whatever reason when i do have them it does not work. I think at this point i am just done with the game. in this case i dont have Tyrant or armiger. which i am told that after 2 years playing that it is very unusualy to have never seen armiger from shard pulls.
@@joereynolds5046 you do not need Tyrant. Any champion who has an AoE HP burn can work. Drexthar Bloodtwin can be earned from the Tag Arena Bazaar and Akoth the Seared can be earned from Doom Tower normal secret rooms. Armiger is an uncommon.
@@TheAdventuresOfAdam yep i have Akoth. fully leveled, ascended and with masteries and fully leveled artifacts. Group still fails past stage 13 and fights are lasting upwards of 10 mins or more.
team power says 139k not 200k.
@@joereynolds5046 team power is a worthless metric and it means nothing. If you gear your champions correctly and bring champions that help counter the boss mechanics, you will succeed. @@TheAdventuresOfAdam i use team power as a rough indication. what i go by are the actual stats of the champion. i honestly dont know whats wrong. i can gear a champ almost exactly as what i am told to do and it still will not perform the way im told it should. 6 friends got me into this game and all of them have rage quit already. im told that i should be running dungeons on hard by now but i havent been able to clear them on normal. sorry, frustrations getting the better of me. I do thank you for taking the time to respond but most likey i will be quiting the game.

I just clicked because I need to learn how to beat the Spider for the FIRST TIME, on lvl one. This is WAY too advanced to be of any help to a newbie like myself.
If you’re stuck on low levels of spider, just focus on building champs who have AoE attacks on short cooldowns. Your starter champion is great for this. Focus on getting them to 6 star ASAP (as well as a few other champs) and the game becomes a lot easier

Says "Abilities" not champions....goes on to list specific champions
The specific champions I mentioned like Armiger, High Khatun and Drexthar are all champs everyone has access to and can obtain for free. This why I mentioned them specifically as examples. And I can’t showcase teams without using champions, so yes, I told you which champions I was using to fill each roll. If you have champions who can fill the same rolls but more effectively, then by all means feel free to apply some critical thinking and do so. This video was intended to teach that while also pointing players in the direction of champions they have access to in order to get them started.
Why do I even play this game when I can't even upgrade the rank of my champion. I don't understand this stupid game. I don't know why I even bought anything using real money because I am now stuck at level 40 with one of my champions and can't go up any further because I have no way to get more chickens or more champions to use to level up my rank. It makes no sense I am pretty much done playing the game now.
@@uhavemooface I know it can be frustrating and it’s a long grind. The best place to level up champions is the campaign. Specially stage 12 of Brutal. For now I’d recommend focusing on campaign until you can get to level 12 of Brutal.
In other words payup for better champs
In this guide, the vast majority of champions I showcased are free to obtain. And the few that weren’t can EASILY be replaced by other champions who can fill the same roll. You just have to find the right piece of the puzzle for your own account based off the champs you have.

I didn't understand anything. This is way too technical. For Raid to make this dungeon so difficult that you need all this intricate, and for me incomprehensible, strategy to pass even level 1 is absurd.
I can't be bothered with debuff this and stun that and reducing timers. I have better things to do than to let learn all this, because it has no benefits in my real life and it ruins any entertainment I can get out of playing this game.
Raid is indeed a very complex game.
@learn2raid it is complex and not for everyone. However, I simplified things for myself and boosted up my aura character as much as possible and also added a powered up Coldheart to the mix, and now the Spider web is no longer such a sticky situation. The little multi-legged minions die in droves, and so does their matriarch. Repeatedly. The game is much more fun for me this way. But I understand that others prefer to check all the stats and defibrillate the very heart of the game.
I can't win, even after watch these videos.....so tired of all the BS
