For any new players that are watching this, I would like to remind them that this list is an end game player list. Which is pretty much about 8 months to a year out or farther for most new players, so Please don't use this video as cannon when developing your early teams. Plenty of Rares are very viable for your play for many many months. Do not be afraid to 6 star and level rares that will help you in your progression, you will not be wasting your resources.
No offense to your list Ash! Great list actually. I just wanted to put up a warning for players who may be starting the game and trying to figure out what heroes they should level. This is that list for people who already have all the epics, and even full teams of legendaries.
Recently, I've pulled Apo and Pain Keeper and I maxed them out instantly. Since then they carry my team through Dungeons like a charm. Dragon from stage 13 to 19, Fire Knight from 11 to 16, Ice Golem from 10 to 16, Spider to Stagr 16, though I'm FTP. They're really viable. Thanks your great video, Ash from Pallet Town.

I have a Bellower using a Relentess build - when he starts getting multiple turns in a row, it’s a thing of beauty! 😁
I fed Apothecary in my first week. The game punished me by making me wait three months for another, then gave me four in two weeks.
Pulled Frozen Banshee a couple weeks ago & Apothecary a week or two after that. I've only been playing for something like 57 or 58 days. Banshee was my first I pushed to 5*. I'm still very much a noob game wise so your videos help me a lot Ash! I geeked the first time my Clan boss team hit 1Mil+!

I would love it if you did a progression champion series. Such as talking about the rares and epics to help you make progress in specific dungeons. I know the “best” champions for each dungeon but as a F2P my odds of getting those epics are slim, legendaries, almost non-existent. But I nevertheless want to make progress in dungeons

I have my Bellower in a taunting set along side my skull crusher. The provoke with his aoe attacks and the aoe counter attack is a deadly combo. Took me 4 months of farming to get the right sub stats lol. It was so worth it
Got all but two... They are carrying me through the Mid-Game. Your advise is always sound and valued!
Also Bellower pairs well with Grohak, because of his mass speed debuff aoe.
Hey Ash - the other day you asked about champs that the community sleeps on. Eviscerator (Void Rare) has a passive that really counters the current arena meta (essentially smack the enemy if they go first). Geared well she can autonwin arena matches the moment the opponent uses their TM boost, without ever taking a turn. A1 multiplier is 1.9 (2 hitter, effectively 3.4). It's a commitment but the first content creator to run 4 of her will get a lot of attention.
I love my Bellower. Thank you for your videos. They have helped me avoid making too many big mistakes as a newbie 😃 ( lovely to see you let your son steal the show every so often 🥰).

I used Avir the alchmage in faction wars ... he has good damage on his a2 and with the turn meter and healing he could be very useful for some players

I'm new to the game, the number of options are a bit overwhelming but I find your videos quite helpful, thanks!
Definitely agree with CH being a Lego in a rare skin. Took me 10 months to pull her, within a week of pulling her I finished out the arbiter missions and it was all due to CH.
I underestimated the Frozen sisters even though I got them both and equiped them in Ice Armor. I'll definitely use Bellower and Marked when I get them. And everyone repeatedly constantly consistently and tediously praises cold heart, but she's one of the few rares that I still don't have yet, though my Rares collection is somewhere between 90%-95% at this point. I'll definitely utilize DoomScreech when I get him too. Thanks for the tips.

I'm grateful for these champs, I am 8 months in and haven't pulled any leggos (except the free Scyl from log in rewards), without these champs I'd have a weak game. I have 2 CHs and 2 Kaels. Great for Spiders and FW!

I just got Doomscreech today. I thought that he was not worth it because i saw that he was HP based, but after watching this video it changed my perspective on doomscreech!
i personally find that painsmith is a very underrated rare champion when booked up and fully upgraded this guy hits like a tank
I'm really liking the new champion draconis. He's a void and all of his abilities either put your team in a shield for two teams or heals the champion with the least health on your team

So I really enjoy your videos. They are great training/learning tools for new players. With that said, is there a pdf version of all the info you have compiled for worthy heroes without watching 20 or so 20 minute videos. Like a quick reference. And maybe you have that, or maybe there is a site with this info already, I just haven’t found it.

I don't think it's changed much
I play a lvl 50 Marked and a Warmaiden in my Barb FW 21. Those two are totally viable in endgame content and I see them shine in doom tower all-rare rooms.
Although I still think that you should include Kael on this list, the rest I completely agree with you.
Question: in your option what is the best faction in your opinion?
Ash, could u tell plarium to make special event for obtaining CH, fragmen fusion is okay though
Frozen Banshee at 200 spd and relentless helped me break stalemates in the arena. Seeing a character with poison sensitivity and 10 poisons on them about to pop is hilarious.

Landed a cool 5 star epic accuracy banner for my Apothecary. Rolled triple defense (21%). Also had attack% 5%, hp% 7% & a 6 speed.
Why would you put acc banner on apoth?

Ive found Margester but still searching to get my Apothecary champion to better line out my top crews. Thanks for all your gaming insights many of which has helped me spend alot less and gain far more discovered fun on a budget.

Armiger should have an Honorable mention, uncommon sure, but 100% endgame viable.

i've been destroying doom tower since i applied some work to diabolist, and she's only maxed out 5 star. she synergizes very well with erinyes
Of my current 63 beginning champions i think rock the game there are plenty of Elhains a Dark Elhain, pair of Dark Athels , Athel , High Kutun, pair of Kaels , micreated monster, legendary Saito make up current main teams and lots of other various high skilled lower power champions i create armor so they win also just takes more work soon to get better legendaries

Yes. As they're only for early game players. You become mid game if you know basics, you rarely need him to do guides.

i still dont know how to use him properly
Hey ash can you do a vid (or have you done a vid?) on the buffs and debuffs? Noobs like me probably have no idea what some of the more complex ones are. Like how does hp burn or weaken work? Or why is poison better or worse? How effective is a skill like “place bomb”? Does ally protect divert damage or just lessen? Stuff like that I have no idea. Or if someone can show me where to get this information?
In the past I've gotten 3 Bellowers, 4 Fellhounds, 4 Doomscreeches, but NEVER got a Coldheart.
Until Ultimate Kael comes out, my regular Kael can and will be good everywhere .
There are additional Rares that you can add to this list but you really can't dispute the ones you have. Good job!
I'd love to see this list updated for the end of 2022... lots of new champs since then.

Hey Ash great video and do you think Raid might do a event like a 10x chance to pull Halloween champions like miscreated monster and madame for this month because I am saving up my shards and I don't know if I should use them now during this upcoming 2x event or wait till the potential 10x?

Good vids, keep em coming! I have all of these. I can't really say I'm as thrilled about CH as you, but she is solid and does some amazing damage, just dies if she gets looked at.
I would like to see videos on what champs to get rid of / food. I need to go through my collection as I'm full on champs, lol.

Ummm don't. He is a whale with a diverse pool of champions. He would build champions differently than you would. Ask HOW do you build this champion for this area instead. It needs to be specific, yes some champs can be all good around with just 1 build. But, if you only want them in a specific place, that could make them less beneficial.

What are your thoughts on Arcanist? I use her in clan boss and she definitely helps keep my champs alive and doing consistent damage.
Coldheart is in every one of my top level dungeon teams. Every. Single. One. In some teams, I have two of them.

Who you level up is who can help you the most at the time. If you aren't a whale you can't afford to pull shards til you get the best toons in the game.
Coldheart was my first ancient shard (whos drop wasn't fixed)
hi there, kind of new to the game (3 months), have all six and use them all:D you alwys ask for vid ideeas, what u think about combo heros, like Seducer + Temptress? we have a lot of pairs like this, and i'm curious wich and if they are worth it...cos as a new player if u pull a combo you are tempted to invest in them! for example Seducer + Temptres, how much better are they together compared to solo?
Kael is definitely end game viable and works in FW 21 My Dark Elf FW team is Psylar, Kaiden, Coldheart, Madame and Kael. Breezed right through FW in this faction with no legendaries.
We have Apothecary and Coldheart at 5-star level 50 right now. Still not sure we want to spend 6-star food on them yet though. We're F2P so levelling up to 6-star is a bit of a chore. So far we have Galek (our first champ), Kael, Zelotah, Scyl, Bad-el and Nethril at 60.
Pain Keeper is vital for most of my teams. Put her with Apothecary abs watch the carnage.
Only ones I’m desperate to get now are CH & Bellower.
Had two cold hearts that I used as food not knowing her worth 😔 havnt pulled her since

Before starting the video: Apoth, CH, Bulwark, FB, Fellhound, and Bellower. Renegade and Paragon are but very niche. Will update afterward. Oh, your definition includes FW 21 - well, add Elhain to the list then. Okay, I blanked on PK and should have included her. Never looked at Doomskeech but I see your point. But you absolutely missed on Bulwark. If you don't have Vizier, he is the next best thing.

Draconis does not have AOE heal on A1 as You stated in the movie - its random heal on one person.
there are elhain and athel on undead faction. they should make a non human champion undead. Or many.
Anyone who doesn't think coldheart is legendary, doesn't have her ..

I think reliquary tender>doomscreech for end game considering the epic and legendary alternatives of these rares.
Have to say my Dilgol maxed has been the one to carry me through but i dont have to many of these.
