I listened to this album so many times when I was a kid. I had a tough time when I was young and this song helped me. Even though the context of the song was beyond my problems, when Bruce sang "get to your feet again..." It helped me get up and live. I'm lucky to be alive. Love you, maiden.
At least Enema got aired for the entire tour. Judas is definitely their most under rated, I remember when the album came out we all loved it and were surprised they did not play it live or release as a single
Man, they look like their having the time of their lives! It's great how they pull off that feeling in every show. Fucking Maiden. Best band ever. Period.
My first ever concert was Maiden in this tour, I remember feeling excited and a bit down at the same time because I missed seeing Adrian in their previous tour.
and, Another Life, Charlotte The Harlot, The Duelists, Infinite dreams, Caught somewhere in time, Deja vu, Futureal, Fortunes of war, Fear is the key........... So Good!
Still waiting for a live version of Alexander the Great, the duellists, Mother Russia, run silent run deep, invaders, the prophecy, the loneliness of a long distance runner... among others!
I never had an issue with this album. Love this track. The mix on this is off. There is a version when they were doing the club warm up shows and it’s killer.
That intro was just fuckin' badass! Check out Bruce's little dance hahahah he's so cute. Iron Maiden = Legends. Can't believe I'll be seeing Gods on 15th February
EXCELLENT!!! PITIFULLY underrated song!!! They should've made a home video/DVD of this!!! Perhaps it'll be included in a future volume of The Early Days! Up until now, I thought I was the ONLY one who ranked No Prayer For The Dying as a classic!!! Next month, it celebrates its 20th Anniversary(Along with Judas Priest's Painkiller, Scorpions' Crazy World, AC/DC's The Razor's Edge, and Queensryche's Empire-a BANNER season for heavy metal, to be sure!!!)!!! Ps1c0, WE SALUTE YOU!!!
@Billinois78 I like them both equally. I would kill to hear them live. I recall Steve once admitted in an interview that Alexander is too technically intricate, thus, it hasn't featured on setlists. It is a hard song, no doubt about that
Wow, didn't know about that. I just checked out the setlist from Charlotte, and I can't believe they removed Hallowed and didn't play Infinite Dreams...!! I hope they play these songs in Europe...
Bright spots for No Prayer are: No Prayer, Run Silent Run Deep, Mother Russia, Holy Smoke, The Assassin. Good Times. Then enter Fear of the Dark. Yeah!!!
Guitars are really lost in the mix here, cmon Doug Hall, I know Steve pressures you to raise the bass up to extreme levels but w 2 guitars they should be heard more here.
All i hear is bruce too loud tbh .. The bass clanks are outside of the mix because it's played differently than guitar most of the time .. and the tone sets it apart
FotD was indeed played on SBiT tour... I think they have Afraid to Shoot Strangers and Fear of the Dark strategically placed in the new setlist so you don't burn out from overload in the pit... I took a nap and re-energized during those songs!
Unique Maiden style, there is no doubt that there are some many good songs of maiden and is a shame that some of them are never played again or ever played!! Grande maiden los esperamos en Chile con el Tour somwhere back in time!!
Faltam 48 e 49 dias! (Irei em Curitiba e POA)
@homemlagosta How about "Dream Of Mirrors", "Ghost Of The Navigator", "Brave New World", "The Mercenary", "Rainmaker", "No More Lies", "Gates Of Tomorrow", "Childhood's End", "The Fugitive", and "Mother Russia"?
They wouldn't play Fear on the Somewhere Back in Time Tour since it was a retro tour. I dont really know if they know what they're doing. Playing A Matter of Life and Death in it's entirety in an arena tour doesn't sound like people that know what they're doing. They shouldn't alienate their fans, they're not Iron Maiden of the 80's anymore, not in America anymore anyway.
Great show in Kansas City with Anthrax on the this tour...February 1991...No Prayer on the Road...I consider this part of their golden age even though Adrian departed😔
janick had a very very very difficult task to replace Adrian......actually he never did.........apart from some moments of "clarity" But i respect him because he was there and dag into deep shit for almost 11 years.......
Adrian was too awesome to find a clone of, I suppose. And Janick is definitely different from what a lot of guitarists perceive to be the "perfect player" but that's what attracted me to him as a guitarist myself.
Maybe you didn't like the album but there are a lot of fans that really like it, including me. Of course the songs are different from what they used be like 30 years ago but they are ones of their strongest and darkest compositions including amazingly intelligent lyrics. But were the arenas empty? I doubt it... If they've been doing something wrongly, certainly they wouldn't be around right now but as far as I know they're doing great :d
they play FotD every gig from what i see... they DID play it on the Somewhere Back in Time tour, it's on the Flight 666 DVD, additionally they have Afraid to Shoot Strangers in the set right now (why Bruce why?). Infinite Dreams is not in the set, but SHOULD be! As for A Matter of Life and Death, I think it is one of their best albums, the best since 7th Son (everything in between i could live without)
Would love to hear this song live again. What a great son. Same goes for "Fates Warning."
This had always been a stand out track in their catalogue! Amazing, such a forgotten album
Fantastic song, great album, amazing guitars!!!
No Prayer kicks ass, no matter what people say!!!
Wow what a rarity this is. Love this whole album.
underated album, its a hell of a song. genius. no praying for the dying criticos
Tienes toda la razon. Y esta canciòn es total!
One of the very best and favorite for almost 25 years, up di irons 🤘
Amazing song, so damn underrated. Davey's solo here was so perfectly executed, unbelievable!!!
One of my favorite solos from Dave. ♡ Another great song co-written by Dave Murray.
I listened to this album so many times when I was a kid. I had a tough time when I was young and this song helped me. Even though the context of the song was beyond my problems, when Bruce sang "get to your feet again..." It helped me get up and live. I'm lucky to be alive.
Love you, maiden.
i wonder why the whole album is underrated cos THIS IS EPIC!!
Very underrated song... I didn't even know this song existed until it played on my Pandora station. UP THE IRONS!!!!!
Saudações do Brasil!
At least Enema got aired for the entire tour. Judas is definitely their most under rated, I remember when the album came out we all loved it and were surprised they did not play it live or release as a single
Concordo!
🤘🤘👍
Album ótimo
This would still sound KILLER if they did this live today!!! I wish they did! Thanks for posting!
Man, they look like their having the time of their lives!
It's great how they pull off that feeling in every show. Fucking Maiden. Best band ever. Period.
love this album. brings back good memories and has some awesome songs on it.
My first ever concert was Maiden in this tour, I remember feeling excited and a bit down at the same time because I missed seeing Adrian in their previous tour.
Kings of speed metalll!!!

Maiden is the best!!!
UP THE IRONS!
and, Another Life, Charlotte The Harlot, The Duelists, Infinite dreams, Caught somewhere in time, Deja vu, Futureal, Fortunes of war, Fear is the key........... So Good!

No Prayer For The Dying is my favoyrite Iron Maiden album
Hail from Macedonia
I really love this album, maybe my favourite.
Still waiting for a live version of Alexander the Great, the duellists, Mother Russia, run silent run deep, invaders, the prophecy, the loneliness of a long distance runner... among others!
the loneliness of a long distance runner has been player once in belgrade 1986 at the start of the show and was dropped for sea of madness instead
@@TheTrooperMB interesting, but still I can't wait to hear a live version of Alexander the great.
Totally agree man👍👍👍👍
@@yehohanan66 The duellists would be great! I think it would sound like the studio version especially with three guitarists.
@@yehohanan66 your wish has been granted
Cada vez me gusta más este album!!!
I never had an issue with this album. Love this track. The mix on this is off. There is a version when they were doing the club warm up shows and it’s killer.
Always like it too. No real classics but very solid. Bring your daughter is my least favourite but this tune is right up there!
Melhor que Holy Smoke e Bring your Daughter...
E mesmo ea outra the assassin ea minha favorita mas e um discado quem não ouviu tem que ouvir só pena Bruce ter sair depois de fear of the dark
UP the irons,🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
it's good to know that! i had no idea that there was a live version for the loneliness!
i saw maiden for the second time on this tour in toronto january 1991. i was still 15 years old. anthrax opened up. great show.
+jimmyjambhere I saw them a few days before in Halifax !! I was 16 ... saw them another 6 times between 99-06 !! Best band ever !!1
Saw them in Detroit. Great show
I saw them at the Victoria Hall in Hanley Stoke on trent, on this tour I think this is filmed there, looks very similar, amazing gig totally amazing.

Great song!
That intro was just fuckin' badass!
Check out Bruce's little dance hahahah he's so cute.
Iron Maiden = Legends.
Can't believe I'll be seeing Gods on 15th February
Pretty good albun..very good lyrics.I Love Janick
Why people keep on writing Enema instead of Enemy?
Finally some No prayer stuff, kickass, thanks alot!
wow - where did u get this vid from?! Its VERY good quality!!! Are there any more that u have? Quality vid.
what show it is?
EXCELLENT!!! PITIFULLY underrated song!!! They should've made a home video/DVD of this!!! Perhaps it'll be included in a future volume of The Early Days! Nicko Is perfect
no prayer is just as good as fear.
fuck the haters
i wish theyd play more fear and prayer songs nowadays.
WAY underated.
Dave Murray is master of giutar!!!
the most amaing guitar player of UK bands of 80.
Love this track!
@Billinois78 I like them both equally. I would kill to hear them live. I recall Steve once admitted in an interview that Alexander is too technically intricate, thus, it hasn't featured on setlists. It is a hard song, no doubt about that
Huh what? I know that. They're all british. I never spoke about them being Prime Ministers. I think you got me mixed up with someone!
amazing!!
This song and Fates Warning are among the best of NPFTD.
Wow, didn't know about that. I just checked out the setlist from Charlotte, and I can't believe they removed Hallowed and didn't play Infinite Dreams...!! I hope they play these songs in Europe...
Wowa, greet drumming by Nicko!!! Very quick and loose like Seventh Son Tour live!! Awesome energy!!!!
BRUCE DICKINSON = the best singer of heavy metal!!!!
HELL YES!!! 🤘🤘
Dio was, but Bruce is.
Bright spots for No Prayer are: No Prayer, Run Silent Run Deep, Mother Russia, Holy Smoke, The Assassin. Good Times. Then enter Fear of the Dark. Yeah!!!
this songs is so awesome. top ten favorite song
Looks like they are playing in the theatre or something like that . Very nice place and crazy audience ;-)
FotD was indeed played on SBiT tour... I think they have Afraid to Shoot Strangers and Fear of the Dark strategically placed in the new setlist so you don't burn out from overload in the pit... I took a nap and re-energized during those songs!
TE MA ZO !
La cagó
6 people thought they were listening to the eminem song with the same name.
@leandroprete I so fucking agree
Sorry my english, but Maiden rules!!!
UP TH IRONS!!!
Unique Maiden style, there is no doubt that there are some many good songs of maiden and is a shame that some of them are never played again or ever played!! Grande maiden los esperamos en Chile con el Tour somwhere back in time!!
@leandroprete I agree. And Seventh Son! :D Everyone likes NotB and Piece of Mind. They're great but their less popular albums are great too!
@OmegaDarkful @0MusicPunkmcr0 two songs: Invaders and Gangland. Shame they were never played live. :(
Eh read that wrong i was answering his question bout which donington they set that guinness record at.
For me he had the best voice in this period..
Faltam 48 e 49 dias! (Irei em Curitiba e POA)
@homemlagosta How about "Dream Of Mirrors", "Ghost Of The Navigator", "Brave New World", "The Mercenary", "Rainmaker", "No More Lies", "Gates Of Tomorrow", "Childhood's End", "The Fugitive", and "Mother Russia"?
simplisment foda!!!!!
Why didn't they play fates warning on this tour?
They wouldn't play Fear on the Somewhere Back in Time Tour since it was a retro tour. I dont really know if they know what they're doing. Great show in Kansas City with Anthrax on the this tour...February 1991...No Prayer on the Road...I consider this part of their golden age even though Adrian departed😔
did you know that this is the official video ? official but not published . seriusly !
janick had a very very very difficult task to replace Adrian......actually he never did.........apart from some moments of "clarity" But i respect him because he was there and dag into deep shit for almost 11 years.......
Adrian was too awesome to find a clone of, I suppose. And Janick is definitely different from what a lot of guitarists perceive to be the "perfect player" but that's what attracted me to him as a guitarist myself.
hey do you have the full show? where can i dwonload?
Maybe you didn't like the album but there are a lot of fans that really like it, including me. excellent video, from where he taked, not the complete concert?
Stage and venue seem not too big, as they did on previous tours and will be after '99
Great!
Not a great album, but this song is a damn gem, along with the title track.
they play FotD every gig from what i see... they DID play it on the Somewhere Back in Time tour, it's on the Flight 666 DVD, additionally they have Afraid to Shoot Strangers in the set right now (why Bruce why?). Infinite Dreams is not in the set, but SHOULD be! As for A Matter of Life and Death, I think it is one of their best albums, the best since 7th Son (everything in between i could live without)
Thanks for up
Way underrated, yes =)
Yeah my favorite is piece of mind, number of the beast, power slave, somewhere in time but this album is so creative and absolutely bad ass!
