He reaches a bigger crowd because he resonates with people outside the genre. As far as hip hop goes you can’t compare the 2 method man is a legend. What people forget is people like meth wrote the blueprint and there would be no em without the ones that inspired him
I have lived in the hood all my life. Never once have I heard a brother bumping Eminem music. Not once. White kids with backward baseball caps, but never a brother.
Nobody gives a shit about anything that ppl from the hood have to say
the hood dont like him cause he white...so they would rather cut their nose off to spite their face instead of simply enjoying a talented MC
That dosen’t mean ish! Dosen’t and shouldn’t disqualify him from the goat conversation, because people from your circle don’t bump him. There is people who don’t have Eminem as one of their favorite artists but they still respect and recognize his talent, and they are very much aware of the fact that he is at least one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest for them.
Em is trash his voice is annoying AF super duper overated
How do you dig at Em but use the word ‘stan' 😂
Rappers who were once good and talked about fell off. People don’t pay attention to them .
Than you have Em who’s been relevant and getting paid all these years. Of course people are gonna throw a jab at em. They hate the white boy.
Exactly how he just did it …y’all act Like no one can say shit about em
I just liked that em did his own thing and put his own spin on it. He never played the gangster, he never covered himself with gold and diamonds, he never bragged about masses of wealth. He just did his own shit
Finally an mc brave enough to say what we all thinking… em has some corny rhymes and stans refuse to admit it lolll
That man is a fukkn magician an ppl hate it because they could never write it. If you was a writer you’d understand the difficulties in what he does. The creativity an ability to stick to an entire subject an relate is not easy like Nas when he did an entire song in REWIND. That’s God given talent.
@@fredpeezy Nas is incredible I agree. Em is highly overrated though. so much of his writing doesn't even connect or make sense.
@@GeorgeG011 it does tho may not be your story but we’re the minority. Avg poor white Americans relate. They didn’t listen to rap but heard one of there own telling their story over rap beats. No different from how we got into hip hop, a culture first owl an EXPERIENCE. Eminem is the reason hip hop is this big an streaming bc he woke those fans up to our music
@@fredpeezy i agree, his early music did that, but once he went mainstream and made money he lost that essence you’re referring to. When he started rapping about having an elevator in his house he lost all sense of being relatable to this fan base and the ppl you’re referring to. Nowadays he just rhymes babbling words like suma luma duma and bc he raps it fast ppl think its ‘lyrical’. …if thats not falling off i dont know what is.
Trying not to talk his ish without trying to start ish with Em because he knows the wrath 😆
I hope you don’t think Eminem could actually fuck with method man lyrically ?
These Stan’s are all white kids who wouldn’t understand hip hop the way em does meth will devour him
wake up, this is method man, nobody has his flow, people will listen and understand meth
@@EntertheEther eminem would destroy meth period
@@mookieblaylock3562 lmfao I can listen and understand him doesn’t mean he’s right
Eminem is the best rapper alive. Forget the silly lines and weirdo shit. When he wants to just rap, no one can touch him
Amen
Hes only famous bcuz hes white
Lies. Em will get ate up on the mic in all lyrical categories. Y'all compare him to limited rappers that aren't capable of witty rhyming and wordplay like him. Then you say he's the best
When has Em ever said the wackest bar in the world, MethodMan should shutup
Without Dre and Eminem I genuinely don’t know if hip hop becomes as culturally influential as it is now. Eminem brought two completely different worlds together by showing people their similarities. Dre brought us everything from NWA to 50 and then K-Dot. Steady with his thumb on the forefront of culture for 4 fuckin decades. That’s just crazy
Hip hop was global and influential long before Em was ever known.
Just say that you started paying attention to Rap when Eminem showed up. Rap had been culturally influential for a long time before that
@@jihigh482 Oh for the love of Christ shut the fuck up bro. I’ve been listening to Wu Tang, NWA, Redman, Big L, Three Six Mafia, Tech N9ne, Cypress Hill, etc etc since I was 10-11. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Nobody has impacted culture on the level that Dre did. It was always a niche genre before that
Hip hop was huge even before em existed and Dre was around NWA but that doesn't make him the main person. There's people that draw way more attention to hip hop than Dre and Eminem. If you wanna count those delusional em stans to the number of people that listen to hip hop then I don't know what to say.
@@xtherealest You just sound salty and pathetic. Let me guess you are young and black but still don't understand the culture 😂
Cliche goof trying to be a part of a culture you don't understand.
There is a reason all the greatest rappers say he's amazing. The fact you disagree with all the greatest rappers should tell you how little you know about our culture. Go listen to Juice world cry about his girlfriend. Your generational culture of rap is a joke. It's no wonder you don't get it.
Em can kill method man in a battle any day
Em has never battled anyone with Meths skill on the mic. Plus he’d have to deal with the clan and ain’t no one doing that.. 👐🏻
@@Andz-fs6pi pffffff 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 foh
@@XxXFlyingArmBarXxX who has he ever battled that has real skill set other than maybe canibus??
There’s benzino.. dead.. mgk.. dead.. nsync, britney, Christina, MJ.. Ja was dealt with by the whole team…
You stans are funny man.. the guy has never battled an ELITE MC yet you call him the best battle rapper in the game.. you people crazy
@@Andz-fs6pithe rap Olympics he tore shit up there and battled top notch ppl there
@@randykuster5530 he came second though.. and even still that doesn’t answer the question!! Name one elite MC he has battled and beaten.. you can’t do it…
EM the GOAT bar for bar
EM is top 3. He can't touch Em
Hip-Hop is not a genre. Its a culture 💯
Been a fan from the beginning
Whenever I argue with someone that’s trashing Eminem; I always ask, “do you dislike Em or his fans?”
They almost always admit it’s the fans 😂
I dislike him and his fans 😂
Black people don’t rever no Eminem, you don’t hear no Eminem playing in hoods never have. Probably in Detroit🤣 method man is trying to stay on tv🤣
So to be respected by rap culture your music has to be bumped in the hood?
Method man is on multiple tv shows stfu
@@mikeysingleton9425 that’s where it started so yes
lmao music has to be played in the hood 🤣 fuck does that mean. Not all music can just be "played in the hood" but hey what do I know Im just a black guy FROM CHICAGO WITH EMINEM AS MY FAVORITE RAPPER
Look at the music they do play in the hood hahaha nobody give a fuck about being verified in the hood.
Facts. Eminem magically became a legend out of nowhere when before hand literally nobody but angry white kids bought his music thats why he stopped being Shady and now he's a rap god with more flops than hits but ok. 😂
I don't listen to Em but dude got 2 diamond albums, how did he flop?
You definitely need to put the crack pipe down dude
Average oldhead rap fan
Rappers have always had stans, just not the term😂. No one has more stans then Tupac.
The number of eminem stans are unmatchable to tupac, with em is just as meth says. He could say the whackest shit and people will say it's fire.
There are people in hip hop that actually studied the culture and know alot of artists, music and events that happened. Eminem is one of those students. He wasn't born into it but he lived it. You have to appreciate the dedication he had to be at the top.
Meth wearing a covid mask....I lost respect for him on that.
This interview was done 2-3 years ago. And if you lose respect over something so dumb then he cares about your respect... means nothing 😂
Meth spoke the truth. It shows how.humble he is.
The last thing he said is SPOT ON! hahaha! Eminem is dope, but there's times where I'm like wtf?!
On the other hand, he's the only rapper I know who receives an absurd amount of shit even for the really good stuff he produces.
It's both sides of the spectrum, you have people who go nuts and love everything he does, and people who just hate everything he does, regardless of how good it actually is. Though his fans outnumber his detractors by a huge margin, he really does have more haters than your average rapper, or at least more vocal ones.
