Direct Injection Fuel Pressure Test using XTOOL A30M / Check Fuel Pressure with a Scan Tool
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 чер 2024
- I show direct injection fuel pressure test or how to check fuel pressure with a scan tool using the XTOOL A30M. Being able to check fuel pressure with a scanner will be crucial for troubleshooting driveability issues especially when there's no CEL. If you're looking for how to check your fuel pressure, or asking will a scanner detect bad fuel pump, or looking for how to check your fuel pressure without a gauge on a GDI engine, you may find this helpful. Although done on Honda Accord 2013 - 2017, some other manufacturers also support this bi-directional test.

The Xtool a30m arrived today, thank you.
That's great to hear. Hope you enjoy it!
Bought the A30M because of your videos.
Oh. Great tool, isn't?
@@DIYAutoworksNG yup. Does everything I need it to while being wireless.
I have an A30m. I love the thing. For the price nothing can be beat it.
100% true talk
Topdon came with scaner then it's the thinking but you have to pay after 1 year This one seems too good
Just a heads up the link in the comments for the a30m brings you to the topdon artidag 800bt for some reason
Thanks mate! Let me fix it
I just checked and the link is correct. I guess it's Amazon automatically redirecting because your delivery address isn't in the US?
Its features a free life time update ?
Yes
Can the AUTEL AP200 also perform this test too?
Nope. Since it's not a bidirectional tool.
I just got the Toyota specific Launch X431 Elite, it is great for bidirectional testing. Have you ever read up on the ATF thermal degradation value by chance? Toyotas give a value of how good your tranny fluid is via a thermal degradation number. I guess 65,545 is the high end and means your ATF needs changed, my new Toyota is at 67 with only 1300 miles. Just curious if youve ever looked into this. Also do you have any TPMS replacement videos, for future reference.
Hey. Never heard of this degradation metric! Definitely a good one to have! What obd protocol does your 2024 Camry use? It looks like something supported by some of the recent OBD protocols. Haven't looked for it in Toyota's running the CAN protocol. Will look into it and see.
I have some TPMS videos, some are old though👀, like when I still used to beat around the bush in videos 🤣
Just created a playlist for TPMS stuff - TPMS diagnosis & fixes: ua-cam.com/play/PL2pms4eLDw4WvKNQqW1kusXDf3o2fDjVR.html
@@DIYAutoworksNG I'll have to look into which protocol but if you look up thermal degradation for atf it's the protocol that uses 65K as the upper limit for the atf life
@@DIYAutoworksNG if you search Toyota atf thermal degradation value estimates, you'll see a bunch of stuff on Toyota and Lexus forums. I would imagine if Toyota has this thermal degradation system, Honda would have it also. Seeing as how they are both Japanese auto manufacturers
@donniev8181 definitely investigating this...
@@DIYAutoworksNG good, let us know what you find out, maybe even do a video on it.
