This is how all tutorials should be made. Simple and straightforward, without unnecessary waffling, background music and lack of speed. This is perfect. Thank you very much Spencer Ogg 😉😊
Oh so very blessed to have found this tutorial and pattern. Made out oil cloth and filled with toothbrush, comb, bar of soap, and wash rag for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child boxes. Much better than the usual gallon zip top bag. Made them in a fun red and white gingham oil cloth with bright zippers and added a carabiner to make them fun and useful for the children to keep and use as they choose. This will be a project we use year after year. Also want to make more for the homeless shelter my uncle volunteers with and think they would be good for the battered women's shelter as well. God Bless you for sharing this.

Fabulous video Diane, love that there was no music & you didn’t waffle on about anything, you just did exactly what was required & that was fantastic. You may just have solved some of my Christmas present dilemmas.
I'm in total agreement with the 'no music and you didn't waffle on about anything, you did exactly what was required and that was fantastic'. I couldn't have said it any better, Kate.
Just ran across your youtube channel today. I've been sewing for over 40 years and I have to admit your tutorials are so nice. Simple, straight forward instructions.
This is a wonderful bag, well explained, I understood you very well, thank you for making this pattern accessible to everyone, lots of love from me here in Jamaica 🇯🇲 , I first came across a video in which you explaining about different interfacing used in bag making, loved it ,then I watched a shopping tote bag video , loved it, then I watched the video in which you showed how to put in zipper straight in your projects and I must say you have shared real helpful tips and I am forever grateful, Thank you!
Thank you for the free pattern. I love your patterns! You make them so easy to make. I have yet to make my last purchase, the Boothstown Backpack pattern, but will soon! The Corkcordians are SEW addicting!
I am SEW happy I found you! I started watching videos about interfacing and then I seen how you demonstrate and watched more of you and THEN just had to subscribe! Love your videos and patterns! Beautifully done. Passed it along to my daughter and friends. Thank you for your generosity!

WOW - just found this tutorial...thank you so much for simplifying this...I have seen so many tutorials that are difficult to follow but this one looks a breeze.. I will be trying out the pattern this afternoon and will post my results to your Facebook page..thanks again...
This is a super cute pouch. Thank you!!! Can't wait to make today with new to me "oil canvas". OHHH its great that its unlined too. Your zipper location is also the best as I am truly able to complete them (unlike zips at the top). Can't explain it -Only that I Love your zippers "off" the top :)
Thanks for the great pattern and tutorial! I haven't made one for a cosmetic pouch yet, but I have made many for myself and friends for organizing "bits and bobs" and they are so quick to make. I use a different colour for each of my devices to keep charger cords etc all together. Thanks again.
Diane I just love your patterns and tutorials, you are so talented and very easy to follow, I have so many of your patterns and love them all....Keep creating you are doing a bang up job!!!
I learned from you regarding with the zipper: how you do your ‘zip edge’ after you’ve sewn on your zipper. I have always done a top stitch on the other side. This way is so much quicker and easier! I have watched a couple of your videos now! I love this cosmetic bag !
Denim could be a little flimsy, better to use something that stands up itself. Take a look at my video on fabrics here for an overview: ua-cam.com/video/H3sj4e2fCus/v-deo.html

Hi Diane, I just made the little bag. It came out really cute! So easy, I love it. Would you say the packing cubes are about the same skill level, or are they more advanced?
Love your videos.Doing okay as a beginner but have serious trouble getting my lining to fit my tote bags. Either too big or too small so wont match up around the top edge of my bag.
It's all about keeping your seam allowances even throughout. A lining can also often be a little baggy if it is cut from the same pattern piece as your outer, unless you increase the seam allowance slightly. Join my FB board - lots of great tips there
Such a nice pouch! I want to try n make this-never worked with oilcloth before-does it take a special type seeing machine? Will my Brother Project Runway be sturdy enough, assuming the oilcloth is a thick materisl? Thanks!
Most machines can handle oilcloth, I love working with it. I use a microtex needle to keep the holes small and a walking foot can help too. Buy a good quality oilskin so there is little oil transferrance.
OMG!!! This is the most easiest pouch tutorial I ever seen! Thank you soooo much for sharing! I'm going to be sewing these all weekend 😃What fabric did you use? It sounds very strong!
You can change the width to anything without changing the other dimensions, just use a longer zip, but do have a look at my video for resizing a PDF here: ua-cam.com/video/AAm4SkbyEGg/v-deo.html

Hi i just made my first one and its lovely but a bit small do i just increase the size on printer. what is the maximum size on A4 please.
Yes just increase on your printer Rita, you can spread it across a number of pages heres how: ua-cam.com/video/AAm4SkbyEGg/v-deo.html
Thank you so much I think I’ll be making a lot of these. I had an idea to put double sided tape under the zip to help it lie flat.
