Dear Fabio, I've got mine NUX B6 for 2 months now. I've based my buying decision partly on your review. I'm happy with that mic (especially with it's ergonomy), using it together with the BOSS VE-20 vocaliser and Focusrite 2i2 soundcard. Thank you for the video and all the work you're doing - it's great motivation for my sax playing🙏
I played a couple of gigs with the NUX and it has some minor glitches, but overall I'm quite happy with it. First, the negative point: its charging cases' USB-C-plug is a bit loose so it may not be charging all the time. And I have the feeling that the transmitter module is draining the charging cases' battery. The sound is quite good, but there are some high frequencies missing in direct comparison to my (high end) AMT microphone. But, for the price, and when you need a fast and simple solution for weddings or similar "pop up" gigs, this device is unbeaten.
The problem b and b-flat ist not a problem of the mic. Its the physical characteristic of the sax when the low flaps are closed. By closing the deep flaps, the air colums end nearly the mic. Thats the thing. If the mic would reduce this, it wouldnt be linear - so eq is the flexible way :)
Great video Fabio! Superb playing! Did you have the chance to compare this microphone with other clip on microphones? This microphone seems to pick a bit of pads noise, how noticeable is this when compared with other clip on microphones (i.e. Beta 98HC, AKG C519, DPA 4099, ATM-350,...)?
Thanks for the informative review. I wonder if you have had any experience with other wireless mics for comparison and if so, what made you choose this one over others in the price bracket.
I still own a SAMSON AIRLINE from many many years ago. At that time it was the only one without wires, a fully wireless microphone. It still works after so many years (>10y)
Many thanks for the great review, Fabio! Is there a way to avoid the automatic switching-off of the mic after 10 minutes of not use? It is pretty inconvenient if you are not continuously playing at a show or a reading. Same if you are using different instruments with different mics.
Hi all, I have the bass wireless model 5-brc. Mine broke after a couple of years as they are only plastic. They come with a5 years warranty and the company replaced them for me no problem. The batteries are not accessible by the customer but the customer support is really good to make up for it. I hope this helps.
Fabio, you are fabulous. Have been following you since Covid days. You are brilliant with your playing. But please remove earphones while talking. They take away your presence to some extent. Best wishes and regards. I am from India , Kolkata and a vocalist and saxophonist ( albeit a novice when Your playing is the bar ).
I have been waiting for someone on UA-cam to review this mic. Cause I'm living in China and recently it has been heavily advertised by local sellers. In China you can get it for 180$ or even lower. Not really impressed. I'd better buy wired Shure beta 98, which is some 70 bucks more expensive.

You r such a great player, so love your music
Great review. Just ordered one. Could only find it on eBay!
Selling now for 200 euro in Italy and Europe
The NUX B6 mic has a big issue with the frequency of the high B and C by the soprano straight.
Hi, that sounds great, what are you using for the delay?
hi, would you play the song "habla si puedes- Violetta" ?? please
thanks for your aportations
I'm using an ATM 350, but it's wired and I'm thinking of investing in a wireless one. What would you recommend me?
Nux or Samson are both good choices
Very best review❤
Happy birthday Sir

if you keep both microphones on it doesn't switch off....you will need for somebody to mute your channel though
@@FabioMarziali Mille grazie, sorry I oversaw your answer! So as long as there is some noise (music) in the room they won't switch off, right?

Puoi usare xlr senza problemi....
Q sonido tan bello y pastoso👌💛
Hi, what amp do you recommend with the Nux when making street music?
@@LoranPolat i own a couple of jbl party mix 100

No
Ciao Fabio. What kind of battery they using for this system ?? Can they be changed by the customer themself it they are down?

Fantastic Congratulations Thank You Teacher Fabio🇺🇾❣️👈👌👍👋👋🎶🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🌷🌹🎵🎵👏
Tell me, do you need a preamp for this system? If I connect it to the external sound card of the computer, and not to the mixing console... Thanks.
No you dont need a preamp
Which dealy system are you using?
So awesome
I bought also the nux b6 for my saxophone, but my ampifier has no XLR input, can i use an XLR with TRS jack to put in my ampilfier??
Buy a xlr to jack cable
was the eq for soprano alto and tenor have major differences
The eq has some effect but not so big to make it critical
I currently have a wired sm57 but I'm looking to go wireless. Considering just the sound quality, Would this sound better than the sm57 or worse?
Join my "Ask me anything" Zoom meeting next monday and we'll talk about this and more
@@FabioMarziali thank you. I will be working unfortunately but I would appreciate if you cover it for me to watch back later 😀
Can this mic be directly connected to an amp without a mixer?
I think so
Any experience of it cutting out at high volumes
It is pretty stable with feedback, never had problems
Just a question, where's the volume nob??
In your mixer?
@@FabioMarziali That means the Mic doesn't comes with an independent Volume also?
@@oralsaxi1080 it is just the mic and the receiver
@@FabioMarziali Okay thank you brother
I have a question about the battery, does it last a long time?! More than two hours
i have played long sets more that 2 hours and still working fine
