Of course, you would have missed Melissa at Walmart, but you can make your own powdered sugar by running regular table sugar thru your blender if it is a strong one. Only takes a few minutes. I haven't bought powdered or brown sugar in years. (One cup white sugar plus 1 tsp or 1 T molasses makes light or dark brown sugar. Molasses has a very long shelf life.) My 10 year old granddaughter found your channel and we make something of yours whenever she visits.
Jo Summers you would need to mix it with corn starch to be powdered or “confectioners” sugar, otherwise it’s just superfine (or caster) sugar. They are actually quite different.

Everything you make is just like anyone would make it at home, and ingredients from WalMart like a lot of people shop at. We have a store here called Meijer, which is like WalMart, and they have store brands just like WalMart does. Its refreshing to see someone on youtube just cooking with “regular” groceries. Thanks.

I just love your vintage kitchen supplies and dishes! My mom and grandmother had most of that stuff so it’s cool seeing them in action (especially the blender). Did you get those as hand me downs? I love watching your show and i look forward to new videos! I have also seen a version of this roll using chocolate cake and the same cream cheese filling but with tiny chopped pieces of Hershey’s chocolate bar and it was divine!!!
