ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTISTS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE LAST YEARS. YOU PAINT WITH ALL MEDIUMS, SAME AS GOOD EVEN IF YOU USE PRISMACOLORS, OR MARKERS OR OIL PAINTS OR WHATEVER!! GREAT JOB ALWAYS.
Lisa I just love your tutorials. They are so informative. I think I wont to put a sketch box of your list of supplies so I can try Acrylics. Love Terri Simmers Ps keep painting Love.
Your work is absolutely beautiful every time without fail, and just by watching your videos, my own work has improved infinitely - I can't thank you enough for that! The flower was done wonderfully. Okee, I'm gonna be awkward now and, uh, BYEEE PLEASE NEVER STOP PAINTING WE LOVE YOU!
Your artwork never fails to impress me--I am unable to afford painting lessons, so I come here and learn from the best:) Thank you for all your hard work and effort. I am especially surprised by the amount of comments you are able to reply to. I love how you listen to your audience as much as you can. I will definitely being checking out Patreon. Thanks again:D
You are such an incredible artist. You have an eye for colour and detail that is enviable and I am so glad you share it with us. Thank you. I always think "no fair!" when you get to use airbrushing for those blurry out of focus parts of an acrylic painting that are so hard to do with just brushes. lol I noticed though, that your pen didn't seem to be tethered to a hose, nor did I hear the noise of an air generator. Is there something new in the airbrushing field that has revolutionized airbrushing?
Lovely, simply lovely!! I am very new to painting and I am trying glazing techniques. My subject is the every popular koi pond. It is really giving me a headache lol. Would you consider doing a koi tutorial?
I really appreciate your videos and willingness to put yourself out there ! your vids inspired me to get back into acrylic painting again 🙌🙌. If you need an idea of something to make a video on, why I stopped using acrylics is that I struggle with hard lines, and getting acrylic paint to look 3d instead of flat, I'm not sure if it's my brushes or brush strokes, or if I just need an airbrush 🤷♀️ I just painted a snake and its so difficult to get the depth and thickness/cylindrical shape of the damn snake !
I find all these negative comments REALLY ANNOYING! If you don't like her or her work, THEN DON'T LISTEN TO HER. FIND SOMEONE ELSE! But stop wasting our time with all your acting out about your own unresolved rage issues.
Is there any videos of Lisa painting in acrylics without an airbrush? Even with a wet canvas and wet-in-wet, double brush blending I'm never going to get such smooth transitions as she can achieve unless I use a medium.... or an airbrush. Do not flame me, I learned A TON watching Lisa draw in colored pencils for example and I love her work. I just wish I could see her work in acrylics without an airbrush sometimes, to see what the medium alone is capable of.
@Lachri Fine Art. What type of paint do I buy to air brush. I have an air brush machine I use to use long ago for foodcolour I want to use for art now. Can’t waste it. Thank you
I know there are supposed to be a lot of layers, but HOW do we get to the final result. How do we know what colours to use? and how do we know what to layer first and what to layer last?
Duane Potgieter While it comes from practice, a good technique to use is the color picker tool in any photo-editing program like photoshop or krita. We may perceive a color differently than what it really is, by using a color picker you can see an oversimplification of the color as it is. For example the whites of the eyes or teeth my be a much darker color than expected. Eventually, you'll get better at eyeing it.
You can copy some tutorials to get a general idea of how different artists layer colors, after that it really comes down to experience! Just practice, make a mess and learn from it! :)
syaz malik The flower is done completely by hand, it's only the backround done in airbrush. This title says 'yellow flower in Acrylics' rather than 'floer with backround done in acrylics.'
Your welcome! I work with acrylic paints sometimes but I find it difficult to do it realistically( I think I commented this on one of your other videos) but now I think I will try doing something like this...
Do you see an issue with using professional grade and student grade paints in the same piece, provided that they both have the same lightfastness and permanence rating? There might be a difference in pigment, but if you're basically mixing everything anyway, does it matter? I can't find an answer for this ANYWHERE else, so I hope this reaches you. :)
I have a question for all the subscribers and those that leave a comment....has anyone ever received a reply? I have basically stopped leaving any since there is never a response/ I know she's busy but so are a lot of artists, especially those that have children etc. Anyways, just wondering, this is not meant to insult, truly.
I've answered your questions not long ago so I'm not sure what you're talking about :) I will say though that there is no human way possible for me to keep making this many videos, and livestreaming and get to every comment.

I love the glazing technique. I never would have thought of it

its a beautiful painting and I'm sure your Mum is going to love it. Another great tutorial. Please keep 'em coming.
Great techniques, I’m tryin to paint a really bright sunflower but have struggled getting that lightness, I will give this a shot!!! Thank you!

Another very informative tutorial from a great teacher who just keeps on giving. I miss your beautiful violin music though.
I just started acrylics and found you now and think you are an angel!
Hi Lisa, Love the colors on this painting. You really know how to glaze. Love It !!!!
Thanks!
I thought I can paint but after seeing your videos I realize that I am not even in pre-KG . You have gifted fingers ❤️

Yes! Thank you so much Lisa. I appreciate your acrylic tips and tutorials :), so helpful.
Thanks :)
Beautiful painting and fantastic instruction. Thank you so much!!
Love your speed Happy Mothers Day!
I learn so much from watching you do these. I am like a sponge - More input, more input. HA ha ha ha!

It is attached to a hose and the original audio is always removed so that I can add the voice over to these videos.
Your acrylic paintings are ovet the too. I love it.

Wonderful job Lisa! I enjoyed your video a lot!
Really pretty. Could you please tell me what the name of that transfer paper you use..
Thank you

I'm stumped on why you don't use a digital projector makes projects so much easier as far as tracing😁👍🏾
Lisa is it only the Orange Liquitex that you don't like or are there other colours that you don't like in this brand?
Lovely.
could you the blurry background with the hobby kit you talk about or do you need a dual action one? beautiful work btw😍
No, you wouldn't have the control you need to get smaller details. It would be like trying to paint with a spray can.
Lachri Fine Art oh well thanks for repplying
Beautiful....😍🤗❤
Awesome 👍 talent.

LOL I love you right now Mary :D
I dont see any negative comments. I only see positive ones. You missed.

Hey! Please make a tutorial video on how to paint blurry images like the flower in the background with acrylics.
It's so pretty 😍👏👏
I just got an airbrush for my birthday and I was wondering if you had any beginner tips and what paint I can use to practice?
here you go ua-cam.com/video/-_RcpxvxHjw/v-deo.html
@Lachri Fine Art. What type of paint do I buy to air brush. I have an air brush machine I use to use long ago for foodcolour
I want to use for art now. Can’t waste it. Thank you
My favorites are Golden's and Holbein. I think I was using createx in this one but you have to thin that quite a bit to run through a .3 needle.
Do you paint clouds with the air brush
I loved how this painting turned out Lisa
Thanks!
Very pretty painting!
Thank you :)
Amazing piece Lisa..! I love how you turned the simple reference photo into this beautiful piece!
btw STEMI is a type of heart attack :p
I know there are supposed to be a lot of layers, but HOW do we get to the final result. How do we know what colours to use? and how do we know what to layer first and what to layer last?
yeah you are right. Thanks

Thank you :)
Lisa you're amazing.. thanks for the tips, again :)
Thanks :D
How would one get the light refracting with colored pencils?
How to get transparent yellow? Any medium or just more water????
Amazing 👌🏻
Where can one buy an airbrush like you have in video.
Great video Lisa! 😁
You look horrible in that pic.
She does NOT.....how rude!
coŋejo pestileƞte Great then I'll keep it 😁
Valarie Connell /DrawingWithFire rejoice, you all losers won't see me again for a long long time. Anyway take care Val.
coŋejo pestileƞte Take care. I hope all is well.
You make me want to get an airbrush!
I wanted ask if you would recommend using Master's Touch Linen canvases for acrylic paint
Can you give me the names of books to learn how to draw portraits?😢
you can just look them up on google
thank you 😅
What if, we don't have that air brush? How do we paint the flower?
syaz malik The flower is done completely by hand, it's only the backround done in airbrush. This title says 'yellow flower in Acrylics' rather than 'floer with backround done in acrylics.'
pretty!

Hello Lisa... please put up the video soon,.. showing how to blur the background using traditional method and not airbrush... :) :)
Very nice work, Thank you like #216
Thanks :D
My god you really make it harder to translate every week. Are you testing me?.
LOL!! Is it my invented words or stumbling over real words that makes it harder? :P
Lachri Fine Art both... Plus sometimes you say 7 words per second.
Lachri Fine Art kidding!
HAHAHAHAHA!!! You're not wrong :P
Wouldn't have it any other way. I love the way you get right to the point Lisa. Don't EVER change.
The front two petals are way too dark than the refernce
Because I wanted them to look that way. Art isn't about reproducing a photograph exactly, but on improving it.
a gifted artist for sure. I do find that a painting that ends up looking just like a photo somewhat defeats the purpose... or is it just me?
You should call this "airbrushing a yellow flower" for those of us who don't have airbrushing equipment.
It's not all airbrushed. The main subject is painted by hand.
pls i really need the other method if i dont have the airbrush ??pls
I will make that video very soon! :D
pleeease😣😣
Hi Lisa
I was emailing you earlier on and I think I'm just gonna use a different email address.
Thx

Anita Holmes ikr never got any reply

not to be rude, but i've honestly never seen a youtuber reply to comments as often as Lachri does...?
@ScaledWithStars thanks
