Think about it, all these good games on GameCube or the DS could easily be ported or fully remade and be priced at $40-$60, they would probably be losing money if they just put them on NSO.
For us it would be fantastic, but from a business perspective I don’t think Nintendo will do that or if they for some reason did we wouldn’t get big titles on there, at least not all. The ones they feel they could remake wouldn’t get added.
That’s my opinion.
Do I want them on NSO, yes absolutely, but do I see this truly Happening in our favor, no not really.
Ehhh I think most of the big games (that would sell) have already been ported over atp. I also don’t think they will port over stuff like melee of DD. This is assuming that we actually end up getting the WW/TP remasters
Again; I rather they just bring the option to "buy and own" the games on NSO to the Switch 2 first; even if it would also make sense to do so for the current Switch when applicable. To keep it as a Switch 2 exclusive perk; they could use DLSS to make the retro games look absolutely PERFECT and 100% accurate to what it would look like on old school TV's along with full screen yet proper aspect ration sprites.
They'd 100% prefer to remaster the game and sell to u for full price rather than give the original version separately for a reasonable price

I've been waiting and hoping Nintendo Gamecube library comes to NSO for a long time over a year, these are awesome Gamecube games what I would love to see: Super Smash Bros Melee, F-Zero GX, Star Fox Adventure, Kirby Air Ride, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness, Metroid Prime 1&2, Mario Kart Double Dash and The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker and Twilight Princess coming with Gamecube! Games what i'm hoping to see are coming with the DS are these: New Super Mario BrosDS my the first-ever-played Mario game and video game of All Time, Mario Kart DS, Mario&Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, The Legend of Zelda Spirit Track, Donkey Kong Jungle Climbing, Diddy Kong Racing DS, Sonic Rush and Super Mario 64 DS version would love to see! 😊❤
If the Gamecube legacy comes to NSO . That will be the selling point for me to get NSO
Mike, I still hope that Super Mario Galaxy 2 comes to the Switch so I can play it in July.
Gamecube is with the Snes my favourite console in my childhood and would love to see it added to the NSO (or just Nintendo Online)! So many great games! Eternal Darkness, Wave Race: Blue Storm, Animal Crossing etc. Would love to go back to that!
I would like the online to allow me to play all of the Fire Emblem games which I think would be ideal after Fire Emblem Engage was supposed to inspire people to play them all.
I feel like we'll get Wii and DS Online before we get gamecube considering how their porting/remastering/remaking them lately.

I don’t want GameCube online because I want to actually own the games and if it is online we’ll never get windwaker or twilight princess ports
Windwaker and TP have already been ported so no need to worry about those. Plus they can co-exist both on NSO and on Switch in HD version with quality of life improvements.
@@MikeOdyssey I know they have ports but I mean if they release on nso then they might not release them on switch 2 as separate games
@@skullkid7989 Andy Robinson one of the best insiders responsible for Metroid Prime Remastered mentioned that both games are already done. Nintendo is sitting on them waiting for the right time to release them. We might see them in the next Nintendo Direct
