A younger Angus Young from AC/DC explaining what gets him wired up and it might not be what you think. Thunderstruck with Chocolate Milk! #acdc #shorts #musicnews #angusyoung
Exactly even though he had a bad beginning with the lead in the water he drank and other things I have to give him credit for being a strong man who just happens to be one of the greatest showman and musical interianer to a hell of a lot of people I have had some of the greatest times of my life at Thier concerts and driving my muscle cars in the 80s and they made it great.
I absolutely loved it when he said " I didn't join a rock n roll band to become famous, I joined to play my guitar and I'm still learning today " What a beautiful human being, one of the best guitarist in the world and he plays it off like it's no big deal! Love ya buddy!!!
I have had the privilege to watch this living legend on more than one occasion, and his energy is next level! I heard a story where his wife hated when he went on tour, not because of drugs or women, but because he would lose so much weight because he is just so high energy when he performs.. I've seen him and he is not just a rock n roller,he is an athlete of the purist form...respect..
There is only 1 Angus no one can touch this guys feel for blues based Rock. Just my opinion the best for personal preference. And a great down to earth guy.
if you want blood lp got me hooked on ACDC,I was 9 years old,I was amazed at his guitar playing especially on let there be rock,, never seen ACDC with Bon, that would have been amazing, for me the best 3 ACDC records are 🎸powerage,,,🎸 let there be rock 🎸 dirty deeds done dirt cheap,,
Hence why the dude STILL shreds!! ACDC played the B.O.K. Arena in the middle of a blizzard in January 2009 here in Tulsa. 20,000 capacity. The show WAS sold out. Maybe 800 people showed up, because you HAD to have 4-wheel drive to get down town. Well, my wife and I had (and still have) a 2005 Toyota 4-Runner. We parked in front of the court house across the street and I drug my wife on a sled all the way to the front door of the arena. We all went down to the floor and lower mezzanine and they rocked that show like it was Donnington. They had actually gotten into town the night before and the opening act couldn't get there. They played nearly 3 hours from 8pm-11pm. Brian kept joking that they might as well keep playing because they couldn't leave anyway. At one point they were taking requests from the audience. Someone got them to play Bedlam in Belgium; which I love personally, but I don't think they play it a lot.
Not only is Angus a freakishly talented guitarist and performer, he’s also a down to earth, all round good bloke. He is a great role model. He was surrounded with all sorts of temptation, but he always stuck to his comic books, cups of tea, and chocky milk.
Angus was high on rock ‘n’ roll and adrenaline man and if you never been there, you’ll never understand because he was a part of one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands ever… Keep on rocking Angus
Speaks to his longevity! Look at him still rock’in at 69. Love ya Angus and I miss your Bro Mal! You both taught me how to play guitar. Well the Reverend Willy G too!
I saw AC/DC at the LIFESAVER in Bondi Juction, Sydney in the early 70's. That's just how I remember you, Angus. Back in the day, so many years ago. Fond memories.
🤣😭 thanks for making me feel bad but also telling people you don't need "shit" to have a good life. I ruined mine because of Drugs and alcohol. Wish I'd stayed on tea and chocolate. 😂 Respect
Yeah, been there, everything and everybody I destroyed with dope. Sober since Jan. 2017. Waking up every day is a blessing literally. Stay good, God bless

There will never be another Rock & Roll band that will be around and loved like ACDC has been all these years seen them live twice at Rupp in Lexington KY both times in early and late 90s The Best.
This reminds me when I was a kid in school, after I played with my band they would asked me what I was on.. And I was absolutely sober, just inmerse in Rock&Roll mode, Thanks Angus
His drug of choice was a Gibson SG and a Marshall amplifier! All you need. A solid guitar, an amp and the drive and desire to rock that shit... And....that's what he does.
Angus, is a Rock God. He likes his cornflakes, and tea, as he says. He is clean. I have been a fan of AC/DC for 43 years. God bless you, and the other guy's Angus. 👍😄
I saw AC/DC right when they first came out at a Day on the Green. Van Halen had just released their first album and came on after them. AC DC was the first band that played and were the best band and smoked Foreigner, Pat Travers, and Aerosmith who also played that day.
I tripped out recently when a friend mentioned this fact to me. Never would have guessed that; I would have thought getting blitzed was a pretequisite for playing blues that low down and dirty, haha. He musta just been through some shit as a young man. I think Hendrix would have absolutely loved Angus Young. It's a shame he never got to hear him. Hendrix was a huge admirer of Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and I'd rate Angus Young right up there with Gibbons, and they have some similarities to their styles. Seems Angus Young isn't taken as seriously as Billy Gibbons by many hardcore blues rock afficionados, but he's an absolute beast of a player.
I saw AC/DC twice when I was a teen. I’m still blown away by the experience! The first time I saw them do “For those about to rock” on the encore I about jumped outta my shoes from the cannon
Ive seen a different interview where he talks about his one vice, cigs or he called them fags lol. What an amazing guitarist. So truthful in his way. Im an ACDC fan from 1977. Incredible energy!
Angus! One of the best lead men in the business. I'm talking about music. Everybody knows at least one AC/DC song. Malcolm was just as good on rhythm. RIP Malcolm. Angus may you live long.
Yeah that’s insane but just the hype of the crowd would keep me going for at least a show every couple days. I can’t imagine the feeling of being up there rocking like that
Angus is the best kid ever just wanted to play his guitar not be a drug addict
Wonderful person!!!!
Love him so much what fun he is!!!!
A pure angel 😇😇😇
An independent thinker with his head screwed on correctly. Good on you. The sheep were taking drugs and are mostly dead now.
More musicians should have been clean like him. 😎
LoL
Keith Richards should have emulated him !
He had more energy than everyone on meth, heroin, or morphine, he was wide open ,full throttle saw him in the late 70s with Def Lephard
@Michaelmadrigale7716 me also Stafford Bingley Hall 1979 Highway to Hell tour
Considering the drugs you listed drain energy, not sure that is a big compliment
I saw AC/DC with Bonn Scott! Any other old deaf farts?
@tomschmidt9923 🤘🏽
I used to be heavy on morphine. 60's... they have you energized and feeling like superman!
My absolutely favorite guitarist. He is just a straight-up dude.

Funny how Angus’ simple answer that he ate chocolate sent the dope dealers second guessing themselves.
That's why they called it dope 😂
Probably one of the only rock guitarists to not drink alcohol and take drugs 🙌💯❤️
How can you be sure about that?
@@goddycarino6747 he literally said it in the video🤦♂️🤦♂️

Angus is the goat
One of the chosen few who can play a guitar like it’s part of them 🎸
Angus Young was the biggest teetotaler Rock n Roll has ever witnessed. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ted Nugent
Gene Simmons
Frank Zappa
*Iggy Pop
Up there with Johnny Thunders for sure
Quite a noted and prolonged abstemiousness.
No Frank Zappa was also a teetotaler.
And yet another reason why we admire Angus Young. He's a pretty smart cookie.
Get high on just playing the guitar!
