Prosecutors: Man who drove into LI nail salon, killing 4, had 18 beers night before crash | News 12

The man accused of plowing through a Deer Park nail salon and killing four people has been arraigned. Steven Schwally had 18 beers the evening before the crash and was still drunk when he drove his car into Hawaii Nail & Spa at a high rate of speed, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors also say he nearly hit pedestrians by a Kohl's in Deer Park and accelerated in the opposite lane of traffic before his car went airborne and through the nail salon.
