ghost explains why in a hidden dialogue, not sure how to trigger it. here is the video i watched about the matter- ua-cam.com/video/r6_2TN0rngg/v-deo.html
Damn… I was fkn 14 when I first experienced this game in the beta for the very first time and now I’m 24, following it all the way til the end makes this cutscene have so much more weight. The memories and adventures I had in this game will never be topped by anything else.
I will NEVER forget that moment. Even as I go about my normal life I shall always take this into account . I remember such beautiful things from this. From protesting dinklebot to illustrating VOG to newer gamers.
its always great going back and seeing this cutscene now, during the Season of Arrivals, and seeing it's relevance. It feels like Bungie is slowly going back to the original story they wanted to tell with the vanilla game, way before the development issues.
@@Apac12 40? and the rest, I paid £72 ($96) for the new stuff and that was on sale. Enjoyed my return enough to give bungo one blind purchase 9which I hope not to regret) as much because of recent hard work as because D2 is one of the few multiplayer FPS I have had any fun in in the past year or 2. Bungo is pushing the FOMO and charging for every smallest piece of gameplay hard this year.
Damn looking back at this and hearing the Speaker say "i only hope he choose wisely". When we are getting darkness supers in Beyond Light kinda makes me think
I really miss the old days of destiny i am always sad to know that those days are over i do drop few tears here i hoped bungie would go back to old ways but no there's no hope for that so bungie has gone to dark ways into very deep there no more new vendor weapons bungie doesn't do vendor refreshes anymore i hope bungie does proof that i am wrong about all of this until than i have no faith or trust for them
imma be real? first time I watched this scene. It was beautiful, This speech. Those words with such Emotion. Broke me, and a tear rolled down. When Bungie still had Soul~ Still beautiful to watch to this day.
Too bad the rest of the game didn’t really have great cutscenes or a great story in general at least base game wise. The potential for it was amazing but wasted by focusing more on the multiplayer than the story.
Ahhh I remember when our guardians could ya know..... SPEAK

"You must have no end of questions guardian--BUT YOU WONT GET THOSE ANSWERS FROM ME!
xD dude right?
Then find out this guy was of full shit, and was just pulling your leg.
Bill Nighy is perfect for the voice of the Speaker. He has one of those voices that is perfect for virtually any role or setting.
+morbius109 HOLY CRAP HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!
Bill Nighy as an magical anime girl??? 😍🤔😱
I’m coming back to this cutscene years later into D2 and My Lord has the storytelling improved
*SPOILERS* They used the same song in this cut scene in the end of destiny 2 when the travelers light touches the dark ships

if youre here after destiny 2, we know why
Captain Smalls dude I have way more respect for this guy after D2! Like holy crap
Especially after the lorebook from season 9
I woke up from a nap and I heard the line that the speaker said from Destiny.

For only 40 dollars per dlc you too can continue the game!

More truth in video games than youll find in any school 👊🏻✌🏻❤️
This is deeply spiritual and is an allegory for the truth of reality
am i the only one who feels inspired?
+Michael Gonzalez nah :)
He's the speaker for the Traveler, not the tower. Lol.
I missed the sound of Dinklebot’s voice
This is such a good scene.
There's so much weight on his words.

God i miss our voice. Hopefully Bungie now being split from Activision will fix that. I dont want to feel like a mindless thrall.
_"But I won't. Mwhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....."_

What's the name of the theme that starts at 1:10. It plays during the end cutscene for Destiny 2 and I haven't been able to find it.
Breshi Me neither! I did like how they reused tracks from d1 in d2
Music of the Spheres, "The Tribulation" (It leaked to the internet a couple weeks ago)
Dinklebot!!!
Destiny vs star trek who would win
I have the mission I don't know how to activate it
