For those that haven't noticed some attack sounds and the announcer and most of the music has been improved (except India and Sagat's stage), this is the best music hack to date although the Vs screen music lets down the overall presentation. Other new graphical improvements I'm aware of are the aurora lights movement, wooden sign in Ryu stage. There are some new character attack sprites (Zangief has new moves) and celebration sprites. There is also a CPS1 sound effects hack.
In the beginning of the video, this just remind me that Mai is an DLC, and it's a "sneak preview", so to say, to see her in Street fighter 6. I've almost immediately, thought about that. It's somewhat slipped my mind, until I saw this video.
This hack... while very impressive on a technical level is also very very very weird. Props to Mai being ported over from Fatal Fury though, moveset and all.
0:54 Madonna Dancer from Makeruna Makendou 2 on SNES and PS1? That's such an obsecure choice, you think they'd at least go with Makendo because Kendo Rage released on SNES in the west

Though, Madonna didn't have a projectile. It follows a goal I had, of replacing 3 World Warriors, 1 Boss and 2 New Challengers, and to have equal amounts of characters of both genders. It's hard to come up with a good girl choice for T. Hawk's character slot. Admittedly, he and Claw have among the least amount of room for taking creative liberties with their movesets. I'm completely stumped as to how the game positions Claw's weapon in his sprites, so I would have to disable his weapon if I wanted to replace him. Makeruna! Makendou 2 was a game that I slept on back in the day, due to the SFC version of that game's unusual character select screen.

Mai with Dhalsim's moveset actually makes sense. She got to keep Dhalsim's teleport, but that's not a problem. Did everyone's up-back jump become a backdash? That's clever! Interesting choice changing Boxer into a magician whose dash punches don't dash. We didn't need so many panty shots, and it's a shame what happened to Blanka. Next time, can we change Ken to Sakura and Ryu to Yuka from Variable Geo? Their sprites and movesets are similar enough.
@@SatokoTajiri Fei Long was already turned into Emily and Fei Long's flame trail was removed from his flame kick, so it's likely not a problem. The main change would be Sakura and Yuka's multi-hit rushing special moves while maintaining both Sakura's spin kick and Yuka's shoryuken.
@@hitstun Yes, I disabled the flame trails to avoid lag, which objectively is one of this hack's biggest problems that I don't know how to fix while keeping the huge chunks of newly inserted code as they are. Should I make a followup to this project that took me 20 months to make, I would certainly have Sakura in one of the Shotos' character slots. It might be a crossover between Street Fighter and another universe in the vein of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I don't know about resizing the Street Fighter Alpha sprites to be more in line with the SNES/MD SF2 sprites, though, as it can result in a loss of detail without manual adjustments. SNES Alpha 2 omitted a lot of animation frames, too. A lot of data is shared between Ryu & Ken, such as grab positions, but some of it is easy to separate, such as their sprite maps, which I did in this hack.

You are correct. It's the name entry music from Battle Bakraid. In the making of this, I never thought of it as a sequel to one of Hummer Team's Famicom fighting games.
Hello Jadoo is a Korean manhwa series by Lee Bin, starring Choi Jadoo. It was later adapted into an animated series that was dubbed into various languages. Lee Bin himself took notice of this ROM Hack. Jadoo's sprites in this ROM Hack were all custom made by a pixel artist I commissioned.

@@Monhamd1000 Way to answer them. Let's take SvC Chaos for example, it's got amazing sprites, the way some Capcom characters were represented is fantastic. But the game is broken as heck, there's too many Shotos, you must not lose a round to fight the real final bosses while the CPU will tear you new ones, no teams or grooves, charge motion bug on Neo Geo, etc.

The flame trails from Ken's fierce Shoryuken (which is shared with Fei Long's Flame Kick) probably wouldn't work for Sakura.

The ROM I used was labelled "Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) [c][!]". The main IPS patch is SSF2_GlamorQueen.ips.
