I liked the straight bangs and the round glasses look. It might not be the most "flattering" combo for him technically. However, It didn't matter to me if it made his face more elongated or what else effect it had on him, it just made him look like a hot nerd imo

It's just that the people judging the faces are a fan of that guy Felix. His status and favouritism amongst the jury is what continuously puts him above someone as good looking as 'Henry Cavill'. That is the reason why flat-faced, soft featured, makeup bearing BTS and other K-POP guys almost always come in the top 10s, none of them are aesthetically pleasing but still due to favouritism they are put above the actually good looking people like Henry Cavill and Chris Hemsworth

This is so interesting because I honestly think Pewdiepie looks way way WAY better than Mads Mikkelsen. Like, to me they can't even compare. I find it very interesting how each gender perceives the beauty of someone of the same gender, you can see it even under this comment section. Heterosexual men find masculine men more handsome, while heterosexual women find both feminine and masculine features appealing. It's because of societys ideals on gender presentation and masculinity and femininity, the way people list and define others as attractive can also be very "i envy their features" "their features are attractive" that's why it's so subjective. I've also found people whos sexuality is not heterosexual don't usual base beauty and attraction on these gender stereotypes and ideal. being bi myself i see a huge amount of bi women find feminine men and masculine women most attractive. It's pretty interesting how much gender and sexuality can change who we perceive as attractive and beautiful. One's own race/ethnicity can also play a huge part in attraction, so many people find people who look similar to them most beautiful thanks to familiarity. People also generally just have a difficult time defining and separating "beauty" from "attraction". See i find Felix to be handsome though i'm not attracted to him, i find Jason Momoa neither handsome or attractive, and i find Kim Taehyung to be both. I think trying to find any formula on beauty is futile as it's so extremely subjective, that's why these contests become based on popularity over actual beauty. I'd love to see you try analyse how a persons personality can change how attractive they are- and those who break that theory (handsome serial killers for a big example)

i would not say "looking older" is considered desirable by either men or women. at least not on a personal level. if you did a survey of people in their 30s i doubt any man would say yes to the question "would you like to look older?" and that's in the end all that matters. who cares if others find you more attractive when you look older if you yourself don't like it?

Most people also have some flaws along with conventionally attractive features that make them even more appealing than a “perfect face”, which is to say that facial analysis doesn’t mean much in terms of real life perception even going off of western standards. According to facial analysis, Bella Hadid would be the most beautiful woman on the planet, yet you can find posts all over disagreeing, and I personally disagree as well. This is all to say that you’ve probably been watching too much of these types of videos and about “alphas” and “chads” when in reality social dynamics are a lot more complex and there are a lot more differences in opinions about looks than you think.

This is so interesting because I honestly think Pewdiepie looks way way WAY better than Mads Mikkelsen. Like, to me they can't even compare. And the super short hair that quoves said looked the best on Pewdiepie? It is honestly my least favorite look of his (from what I've seen). I find it very interesting how each gender perceives the beauty of someone of the same gender, you can see it even under this comment section. Heterosexual men find masculine men more handsome, while heterosexual women find both feminine and masculine features appealing. It's because of societys ideals on gender presentation and masculinity and femininity, the way people list and define others as attractive can also be very "i envy their features" "their features are attractive" that's why it's so subjective.
I've also found people whos sexuality is not heterosexual don't usual base beauty and attraction on these gender stereotypes and ideal. being bi myself i see a huge amount of bi women find feminine men and masculine women most attractive. It's pretty interesting how much gender and sexuality can change who we perceive as attractive and beautiful. One's own race/ethnicity can also play a huge part in attraction, so many people find people who look similar to them most beautiful thanks to familiarity.
People also generally just have a difficult time defining and separating "beauty" from "attraction". See i find Felix to be handsome though i'm not attracted to him, i find Jason Momoa neither handsome or attractive, and i find Kim Taehyung to be both. I think trying to find any formula on beauty is futile as it's so extremely subjective, that's why these contests become based on popularity over actual beauty.
I'd love to see you try analyse how a persons personality can change how attractive they are- and those who break that theory (handsome serial killers for a big example)

i would not say "looking older" is considered desirable by either men or women. at least not on a personal level. if you did a survey of people in their 30s i doubt any man would say yes to the question "would you like to look older?" and that's in the end all that matters. who cares if others find you more attractive when you look older if you yourself don't like it?

of course not, these lists are based off popularity votes. The only time in the last few years I've seen someone who was worthy of winning that title was Kim Taehyung, and even then they should really focus on analysing actual faces instead of public figures.

Talking about attractiveness, Korean actors have the same features as k pop stars and i will agree with you if you think the soft flower boy face is generic because IT IS. But there are different types of faces i have seen among male idols, (pretty, flower boy, androgenous, masculine, feminine) why i find taeyong's face very interesting is because he has a hyper androgenous face. His jawline is extremely sharp (sharpest one i have seen till now) giving him the masculine look and his big eyes give him the youthful look. His nose and lips are slim and he has a triangular shaped face giving him the "Anime" boy look. He has a lot of male fans and older fans too if u talk about diversity. 😂
