The whole Calli x Kiara ship was forced, they dropped the act as soon as things were getting weird.
Kiara's whole identity ammounted to "thirst for Calli" and nothing else, it was really unconfortable to watch them when they were near each other, seeing as Calli was visibly annoyed every time she had to force herself to play that role.
Thank god they act normal now, it did them both a service.

It is just a natural thing to do when you have multiple people/friend that talks multiple language. You'll automatically use the most used language you both used to each other. In Kiara-Reine's case is english. They have to conciously use japanese otherwise.

She can speak Japanese. Couldn't tell you how proficient she is, but this was an off collab at Marine's house and I'm pretty sure the two hung out during the day before the collab so her Japanese is pretty solid. At this point assume most of HoloID is trilingual lmao
