6:57 Bridget's look when Julia said she can get "a little rough in the kitchen"... I **love** the chemistry these two have together!!! 😅😂🤣😅😂🤣
I had to rewind and cracked up!
Came here for that!!!
Hehehe yass :p
@@set921 Aye
I saw that as well. I want that to be my screensaver! Love these two.
That side eye Bridget!!! Yes!!!!!
I had gnudi in Italy recently and I'm thrilled to see a recipe
Wow! The Gnudi looks so delicious and relatively easy to make! Yum!!
This recipe (the combo) is fantastic! Easier to make than I anticipated (once my wife made the ricotta for me- LOL). We made these for friends who raved about them: "5 star!" "Michelin star worthy!"
The four of us didn't need all of the Gnudi, so I held some back after boiling. Popped them in the fridge overnight and heated in a different (pesto based) sauce the next day. Awesome! Next experiment will include freezing the gnudi. These same friends have requested that I take them on an upcoming camping trip, and if I can freeze them, they'll be an easy, fantastic meal sitting around the camp fire.
That look at 6:59 lol 😂
I know! I laughed out loud!
I was very skeptical of the butter tomato sauce. You definitely won me over. I’m trying this
Some of the best cookies I've ever had in my life were in Italy. These look familiar so I need to make some and also pignoli cookies made with pine nuts. 😋
The thing I like about Italian cookies and desserts is that they're just the right amount of sweet. Americans tend to go way too heavy on the sugar.
@@SarahRenz59 I agree!
That was a great explanation of the difference between the chocolate.
Woww ! Amazing From Turkey 🇹🇷🇹🇷♥️
Yum yum yummy 👍
I love Americas test kitchen
Looks good I love this
At 19:51 you can see the little red button on the back of their "special" thermometer that changes what number is showing on the thermometer. I heard long ago in a question and answer segment that they used a special one but this is the first time I saw the button on the back.
@Julia you mentioned you considered panko a pantry staple. What else do you consider a staple? In the new year I'm rebuilding my pantry. By the way, the two lid tip for cutting the cherry tomatoes was the best trip I've picked up so far.
Ok i wanna see the blooper reel on this one. They had to break up just saying Gnudi all the time. 😂
Can you freeze the gnudi and cook it from frozen at a later date or will that ruin the texture?
Absolutely delish and Bridgette your precise delivery for the ladies kisses"baci di dama👍
Bridget!! So funny!
How about using the gnudi dough as a ravioli filling, although I'd add garlic to the gnudi mixture.
I've made spinach ricotta ravioli a few times and I feel like the amount of flour in the gnudi would feel like you're stuffing flour with flour. Kind of like when you get cheap potstickers and can tell there's additional potsticker dough scraps in the meat/veg mix. You can use flour to help stabilize a spinach ricotta ravioli filling, but if you properly drain everything it really shouldn't be necessary.
The reason they are called gnudi is because it’s a ravioli filling naked from pasta.
Did the recipe changed. I have cornstarch & vanilla in the old recipe??
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Where can i get the recipe so i can print it out?
Would you be able to substitute other nuts for the hazelnuts in the baci? Maybe pecans?
OMG I repair furniture and about cried when he broke those little chairs.
The white ceramic utensil crock is sold out! :(
Kinda cooking related.. what's the sure way of getting grease stains out of your clothes?
Put dish detergent on the spot as fast as you can before it sets. Rub it in good with your fingernail or a soft brush. Then wash as usual
@@luxurycardstore What luxurycardstore said! However, do NOT put it into the dryer until you're sure the stain is gone. The high heat from the dryer will permanently set the stain. (I speak from personal experience, lol.)
I've tried dawn and unfortunately no luck 🙁
What temp should the soaking/ scrubbing water and the washing machine be?
@@Hx3ney Try an all-natural dish detergent (like Whole Foods, or at a regular store, but be a careful label reader!). First put an all-natural stain remover on it and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before applying the dish detergent. The water temp (both hand washing and washing machine) can be "tepid to warm" but NOT hot! Melaleuca products are the best!
@@Hx3ney Try sprinkling corn starch on the stain, rub it in and let it sit for a couple days. Shake it off and then wash it. You can also buy stain treatment that works on cooking oil
Those lady kisses... 🥰🥰🥰
Cheese cloth is healthier than paper towel
I bet Nutella would be good instead of chocolate in those cookies.
Own a food ricer? Does a much better job of pressing out water from frozen spinach than just your hands. Give it a try!
Lol, what an unhelpful segment by Dan. Not even an explanation on how to temper.
But at least people know the crystals are like chairs. :p
Utensil crocks are a waste of money. Any vessel heavy enough and with a wide enough base will work. I use a flower pot.
I use a black plastic small GARBAGE CAN. I have way too many everything kitchen tool. LoL. $ 5.99 @ Walsmart . 😂
I wish people knew how to say Riccota. It's not Riccata. I know I'm splitting hairs.
I wish people knew what dialects meant.
