How to sew a decorative SEASHELL pillow in coastal style | Ako ušiť dekoračný vankúš v tvare mušle

SEASHELL pillow measuring 42x45 cm
1) Fabric
Blue PLUSH - slightly elastic fabric (80% cotton, 20% polyester) of 250 g/m2 weight. The amount of fabric needed is twice the required final lips size.
White fabric - 100% nonelastic fabric.
A tailor paper for seashell shape drawing (it works well). We draw the shape of the shell on folded paper so that the resulting shape is the same - mirror. We draw the shape of the shell according to your taste.
2) Machine sewing
On a classic sewing machine using a STRETCH needle 75 (because sew elastic fabric) with a standard straight stitch with a length of 3 mm.
Let's not forget to sew (back and forth) at the beginning and end of each sewing.
3) Filling
polyester hollow fiber approximately 350-400 g.
For filling the front part of the shell, leave a gap of MIN. 3 cm or more.
4) Hand sewing
At the end we sew the hole by hand with an invisible stitch with firm thread (denim thread).

Dekoračný vankúš v tvare mušle 42x45 cm
1) Látka
Modrý plyš- elastická látka (80% bavlna, 20% polyester) s gramážou 250/m2. Potrebné množstvo látky je dvojnásobok požadovanej konečnej veľkosti vankúša.
Biela látka - 100% bavlna neelastická.
Strihový papier (dobre sa s ním pracuje) na zakreslenie tvaru mušle. Preložíme papier na polovicu a tak kreslíme, aby bol výsledný tvar rovnaký - zrkadlový. Tvar mušle podľa vášho vkusu :)
2) Strojové šitie
Na klasickom šijacom stroji pomocou STRETCH ihly 75 (keďže šijeme elastický materiál), so štandardným rovným stehom s dĺžkou 3 mm. Nezabúdajme na zapošívanie na začiatku a na konci každého šitia.
4) Plnenie
polyesterové duté vlákno cca 350-400 g.
Na plnenie prednej časti mušle si nechajte medzeru MIN. 3 cm a viac.
5) Ručné šitie
na konci zašijeme dieru ručne tzv. skrytým matracovým stehom s pevnou niťou. Ja používam jeansovú.
