How to make a decorative pillow in the shape of LIPS | Ako vyrobiť dekoračný vankúš v tvare PIER

Lips-shaped pillow measuring 25 x 54 cm
1) Material preparation
Inelastic fabric Zamat (100% polyester) of 300g/m2 weight. The amount of fabric needed is twice the required final lips size.
! Note- it is difficult to work with velvet on a classic sewing machine without the use of a special sewing foot, so-called walking, so I recommend complete beginners to choose another material.
A tailor paper for lips shape drawing (it works well). We draw the shape of the lips on folded paper so that the resulting shape is the same - mirror. We draw the shape of the lips according to your taste.
2) Machine sewing
On a classic sewing machine using a universal needle 70, with a standard straight stitch with a length of 3 mm.
Let's not forget to sew (back and forth) at the beginning and end of each sewing.
We leave an unsewn 2 spaces (few cm) on the side of the pillow to turn the fabric from the back to the front of the fabric and to fill.
! It is IMPORTANT to cut the fabric at the top between the arches and to cut off the excess fabric at both ends of the lips that the pillow has a beautiful shape. For perfection, we cut the fabric on the arches in several places of the pillow.
3) The center line
We mark the center line with pins or tailor's chalk on the front of the fabric.
4) Filling
polyester hollow fiber approximately 200 g.
5) Hand sewing
at the end we sew both holes by hand with a hidden stitch. The thread must be threaded at least twice to make it stronger.

Vankúš v tvare pier s rozmermi 25 x 54 cm
1) Príprava materiálu
Neelastická látka Zamat (100% polyester) s gramážou 300g/m2. Potrebné množstvo látky je dvojnásobok požadovanej konečnej veľkosti pier.
! Upozornenie - so zamatom sa ťažko pracuje na klasickom šijacom stroji bez použitia špeciálnej pätky, tzv. kráčajúcej, preto odporúčam úplným začiatočníkom aby si zvolili iný materiál.
Strihový papier (dobre sa s ním pracuje) na zakreslenie tvaru pier. Preložíme papier na polovicu a tak kreslíme, aby bol výsledný tvar rovnaký - zrkadlový. Tvar pier je podľa vášho vkusu :)
2) Strojové šitie
Na klasickom šijacom stroji pomocou univerzálnej ihly 70, so štandardným rovným stehom s dĺžkou 3 mm. Nezabúdajme na zapošívanie na začiatku a na konci každého šitia.
Na bočnej strane vankúša necháme nezošité 2 medzery (pár cm) na otočenie látky z rubu na líce a na následné plnenie.
! DÔLEŽITÉ je zastrihnúť látku v hornej časti medzi oblúkmi pier a odstrihnúť prebytočnú látku na oboch koncoch, aby mal vankúš po pretočení krásny tvar. Pre dokonalosť nastrihneme látku na niekoľkých miestach na oblúkoch vankúša.
3) Stredová čiara
Stredovú čiaru si naznačíme špendlíkmi alebo krajčírskou kriedou na lícnu stranu látky.
4) Plnenie
polyesterové duté vlákno cca 200 g.
5) Ručné šitie
na konci obe diery zašijeme ručne skrytým stehom. Niť musí byť navlečená dvojmo, aby bola pevnejšia.
