~ The law is a ministration of spiritual death ~ 2 Corinthians 3:7-9 KJV [7] "But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory." Genesis 2:9 KJV "And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:16-17 KJV [16] "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [17] but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 3:7 KJV "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." Genesis 3:21 KJV "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them." Matthew 5:29-30 KJV [29] "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. [30] And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." Matthew 5:48 KJV "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Galatians 3:10-13 KJV [10] "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. [11] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. [12] And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. [13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" 1 Timothy 1:7-9 KJV [7] "desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. [8] But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; [9] knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers," Galatians 2:16 KJV "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
The book of Galatians needs to be preached more, over and over. Once the church grasps these truths, we will walk in the victory to which we have been called..thanks Brother
@@dianeblack8849 You're welcome. And I thank you Mrs Black for your kindness and good recommendations. By the way, the books of Galatians and Hebrews are my favorite parts of the Bible. I love these books so greatly, because these are the documents of God which illustrate our freedom from the law and our rest in the finished work of Christ more than any other place in Scripture. You know something? "The church" (meaning institutional religion) is the very entity that resists these fact of Scripture that I presented in this message. A saint typically has to leave "the church" and get out from under their influence to see the truth. Isn't it ironic that the places that should be a defender of the finished work of Christ (institutional religion), are it's worst enemy? God bless you sister. 🙂👍
@@leeposkey ..yes, but the truth doesn't bring in the money nor does it make them popular. I think humans are brain washed into believing nothing is ever done without their input (works). Grace is not a human concept.

Thank you for being here! All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever!
Lee, In Acts 15:24-29 the apostles determined that it seemed good to them AND THE HOLY GHOST, not to burden the gentiles with the law except these 4 things : -Meat sacrificed to idols -from blood (rituals) -from things strangled (stressing animal to enhance its spiritual powers in death, satanists do this with their child sacrifice) -sexual immorality. If they refrain from this they will do well. Notice, these 4 things all have significance to idolatary and false temple worship. Its to turn the gentiles from their pagan temples into true worship and obedience to GOD..... Blessings
@@CC-mb8fi True. It's an admonition to abstain from the practices of pagan religion. Notice how he teaches in verse 24 that they're not under the law (which agrees with the avalanche of new covenant Scripture about Christians not being under the law). 24 "Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well.
