For “omg, buy a house” crowd I see on every one of these types of videos...a lot of the ladies that vlog more than likely live alone or have a female roommates the same age as them. Security is important! Yes, home ownership is what everyone attains to, but as someone who travels for work a LOT, I’d prefer my neighbors not blatantly know when I’m not home. A lot of the places are pricey af but you have to understand you’re not just paying for the actual unit you’re living in...that fob activated gate only residents can enter? The fob pad to even get into the building? The fob pad that controls the elevator? Residents pay for all of that. Unless you are paying the bill, just let people be...it’s simpler than it sounds.
Exactly everyone doesn’t want to live in a house!!!!! I raised my kids in suburban area big house now they are grown and I want to live in the city in an apartment

It’s not about moving somewhere to be cheaper y’all. It’s about living in Buckhead in a luxury apartment with that city view. If she can afford it than let her enjoy it.
There are three bedroom apartments in Alpharetta for $1690, and I love Alpharetta. However, I say if you can afford it, do what makes you happy. Being happy in your living space is VERY IMPORTANT!
Look in Dunwoody. It’s like 15 mins from Buckhead but it’s a great area you’ll be paying like half that price lol. Either that or buy/rent a house. 2500 is ridiculous
$2500 isn't ridiculous for renting. My wife and I both own homes. We pay $2,477 for rent in Midtown and our jobs are 2.4 miles from home, we have the best of grocery stores and everything else Midtown Atlanta has to offer. The rent price is only crazy to those who don't have it.
Not sure why I got suggested by youtube this video. Atl getting crazy with them high price apartment Wow. Let the girl enjoy. If you can afford plz enjoy it and save memories.
I live in Atlanta and I agree. There are other apartments that you can get in buckhead or midtown for a lot less, $1700 at most. They are charging for amenities.
Everyone may not want to buy a home. That’s a lot of responsibility and commitment. You’re stuck for some years and most of the time a house doesn’t have anywhere near the details and comforts a luxury apartment complex offers. I personally don’t want a view of a neighbor’s butt putting gnomes in the yard when I can have a view of a resort style pool. It’s preference. Y’all stay out of folks pockets and choices.

Bc these comments 🙄 I purchased a house at 23 on the outskirts of the city bc let’s be honest if we all could purchase houses in the city we wouldn’t have to rent there🤷🏽♀️ But I will be renting out my house and moving to buckhead while purchasing another real estate investment . Sometimes it’s not that deep. Ppl just want to stay in the city not the country/suburbs or 30 miles away which ends up being an hour or two with traffic 😒 Atl traffic is exhausting and ain’t worth the few hundred saved imo “if ya ain’t able move aside”!

Girl please the country is where it is at! You think you need the city experience but you'll be over that in time too. Rude drivers and terrible traffic. I lived in the real city for years and thats midtown. Buckhead aint really the city but downtown is.
WannaWenta hey girl, if it’s not a problem can you give more details on how you got an affordable place. I’m a New Yorker and I’m planning on moving so I’m fishing for all the information I can get.
Stone Mountain 3 acres, 4/3 and my mortgage is $1470 for a 15 year mortgage, a 30 minute drive to ATL is more than worth it, not as fun as the city but I bought it at rock bottom so I can sell at anytime and make money or just stay and ride out this economic disaster.

Victoria Lee this new generation is only looking for instant gratification. Ownership is incredibly important. Can be the difference between building wealth or just handing over money for someone’s wealth.
I loved the Haynes house how far is it from downtown, like Phipps Mall? I live in New York State and I want to move to ATL. My Sisters live in Conyers and I hate the traffic when I'm there going into the city.
If you do not mind me asking, what do you do for a living that allows you to be able to afford the city lifestyle? Put a sis on, because I am trying to make money like that to be able to afford the luxury!
2K for a 2bd 2ba is a lot of money. Try looking at Metro ATL. Probably can find a better deal and a 15-20 min drive to downtown. But if downtown life is what you have to have then go for it.
You’re going from CONYERS to BUCKHEAD? Girl.... I guess you found something but if you have not... 1) they raise your rent EVERY year. The second year not so much but that third year..... I had a 25% rent increase 2) those fees add up. Admin fee, trash fee, I even had to pay a fee for them reading my electricity meter every month 3) the people beneath me SMOKED. so I never got to enjoy my balcony or open my window. 4) that beautiful pool is about 4ft deep. Otherwise they’d be required to have a life guard.
