The zam is such a nice one too great choice!! In hindsight a binder gold star set would have been way cooler and cheaper but I digress can’t go back now 😂
Surging Sparks and the next two sets are going to do fantastic as long term bets. I’m betting very big on it. Picking up 10 boosters box cases tomorrow.
Didn't the same thing happen with Vivid Voltage. Adjusting for inflation, Vivid Voltage booster boxes were going for $200 and the rainbow Chunkachu was being sold for like $400-500.
Yes but it didn’t have Latias SIR this set has more than one nice card arguably at least 3 but I see how they are comparable for sure and appreciate your input. I hope it comes back down to earth. Until then I may just look for a clean Latias. 😎
Surging is worth it, if it gets a reprint it will retrace but not for too long. If it doesn't get a huge reprint it will be one of the more expensive modern boxes. The potential is worth more than the risk imo.
So I have a psa 10 japanese gold star (non 1st edition...which is more rare im told) rayquaza. I saw a few 1st eds sell for like 13k in the past few years. Do you think now is the time to sell? And what platform would be best to sell on?
Try your luck on eBay honestly, now is NOT a great time for Japanese gold stars they have been on the decline unfortunately. If you can get that for it I would sell. 🤷🏻♀️
The S.S set won't be comparable to prismatic evolutions since there are more chase cards in that set then the current one also don't forget there are 32 sir cards in that set so something along the evolving skies level of madness maybe.
Surging Sparks still seems in higher demand/ more expensive than it should be to me. Just as important as the cards, I think the massive growth in the stock market/ other investments in the last two months has a lot of people flush with cash and in a strong position spend on hobbies. As long is the set wasn't below average, people were ready to buy it up. I'm in the minority thinking that surging sparks is an average/ a little above average set, but that's okay. I'll pick up x2 Feebas IR in the next 6 months or so, but that may be all.
Really think about the property, just because you're pre approved for more doesn't mean you need to take on that larger debt. I'm super glad we didn't go to our max. This inflation on other bills would have killed us if we did.
No 100% just because you’re pre approved for more doesn’t mean you should accrue more debt. I definitely am Keeping that in mind. Budget still 400’s and staying there probably. Keeping that down payment and PMI in mind as well as inflation and the rate killing us softly. 😂
There is a lot that goes into home shopping. I remember when we got pre-approved for my first home they gave us WAYYY more than I could even afford monthly. ( which come to find out, they basically always do that ). So just be careful given what I know about your personality from these videos I'm sure your going to research it to death before making a decision like I did.
I rushed into my first home and I won’t be doing that again. Now I went WAY under budget the first time so I’m going to splurge a little here but it’s mainly because we’ll have the rental income now to support new mortgage and basically a lot of stress is figuring who we’re renting to ultimately but thanks man. I like to think this hobby has turned me into a savvy shopper overall 😂
@@orionsires yea absolutely, I personally had over 100k equity in my first home and I thought about keeping both and renting but the idea of having to manage a renter / hire a company to do that for me just wasn't ideal for that time in my life. So we sold and bought...I feel like there are way to many "gotchas" in home buying experience personally. lol
This happens all the time, the hype train eventually comes to its stop. The Ex era of modern sets is Sword & Shield. Buy up as much of the market of this era as you can because nothing comes close to how beautifully illustrated some of these cards were drawn. As per Vintage, people are mostly after the big ones…all the secret rares of each set….eventually these modern sets will be the vintage as well but what is shocking is that new cards are fetching prices equivalent of Gold star prices so modern has caught up and does have a larger audience than vintage (151)…..Gen Z loves modern and eventually us millennials will be overtaken by all of this…I believe for now while we can appreciate these cards people will pay mind to them but once these textured cards start getting better with newer sets to come it will take out most vintage love. I personally hate S&V….hate the crown…loved S&S for the Giant Vmax Pokemon and S&M for the Tag Team combo….hopefully next era is more appealing….kudos though to the artist to still trying to make a pokemon look good with a crown. Keep up the vids Orion….appreciate you Bro.
