Teenage New year Victoria has a contralto voice. Which is the lowest female voice. Makes sense they wouldn't expect her to be the singer. No need to be rude.

Teen Dream is one of the only albums I've had where some of the most popular or well-known songs are the ones that strike me personally the most, namely in this case Walk In The Park and Norway.

Randomly heard 'Zebra' on the local radio recently and had to find out more about this band that I had never heard of. I have to confess that like some others, I initially thought that the lead singer was a guy and was surprised to find out it wasn't. Victoria is very beautiful and her sultry voice is a great fit and sets her apart. On a side note, I recently decided I wanted to learn to play the guitar. I've been using 'Zebra' as one of the songs to practice with.
My friend just told me about beach house last night and I went to Spotify to listen to their most played song “space song”. Fuck.. is all I can say. It’s about to be 7am.. I’m starting their first ever album. I know it’ll be an experience✨
I love Beach House so so much...sooooo sooooo much, but I definitely noticed a few things in this video: 1) Victoria and Alex don't really seem to be on the same page with their answers...that always surprises me with bandmates...you'd think that with all the time they spend together that they would talk about how they've developed as a band and what the music means to them also 2) Victoria >>>>>>>>>>>>> Alex. End of story.
No, Alex is super important. I know that Victoria overshadows him with her gorgeous voice, but without Alex there simply would be no Beach House. His contributions are massive. Alex is a total sweetheart too.
Way before they became as closed and hermetic as they are these days. I miss those times when they seemed so chill and friendly (and when Vic would wear those awesome suits). I can't even find a recent interview of them, from the last three years! I dont even know what they look like now with all that darkness they surround themselves in the current concerts. I kind of feel them cold and distant from their audience. And that sorta breaks ma heart given that they're one of the bands that i respect and enjoy the most of my generation.
