I have done some research on your owl . And I believe it to be much older than you believe. Let me check even further in the history of relics and I will post again if I find anything good about the owl .I think it’s the best find he has ever made.
Hi John! What a brilliant day's hunt! I thought I knew all most all my kings and queens, but never knew Anne was on the throne or that Sofia got struck by lightning! Could've been us here in Valencia yesterday, with the floods we had and the constant thunderstorm that lasted over 36 hours! (Been here 22 years n never, ever seen the like!) Anyway, thanks again for another brilliant history lesson, from Pete's owl, to your amazing Florins! See you on the next ! Much love to you n all the gang from Chez in Lliria Valencia Spain 😘😘
Ps that bit of bronze you found had the look of a big cat, Tiger maybe, I hope you looked again, maybe I'm suffering from a bit of paradolia 😂 Im an Artist, so see Faces everywhere 😂😂😂 😘😘😘
Thanks for the kind words and I’m glad you enjoyed. Good to hear you survived the floods and lightning ⚡️ too!! Hoping to get back on the hunt again today in search of more treasures!!
I love how you give little bit of History from your country about the coins lot of the coins we don't see here in America but I really enjoy learning about the history
Greetings from Canada 🍁 Dam great video buddy! I am strictly a relic hunter for artifacts of the Fur trader 1650 -1840 time period . I would have a heart attack finding your artifacts 😂 big congrats
Considering the country of residence, your fortunate to have such a broad date range. For example I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia where oneself would be considered lucky just to find a relic which dates from before the 1870s.
Incredible finds my friend, some beautiful big silvers towards the end and an amazing silver ingot also! Love the bag seals to, very nice. Awesome video, thanks so much for sharing!
Y'all did excellent fellas. When you had the three Georgian coins the one you couldn't identify looks like the head was looking left. I'm amazed with the ingot. Great job guys. Enjoyed seeing all your finds and I'd be back as soon as i could 😆. See you guys on the next and thanks for the video's you do John. Congrats on your success
That owl is actually a Roman Butt Plug, mainly used by the Spartan soldiers whilst riding their chariots for obvious reasons, during the reign of Constantine 👍🏻 great find amongst all the other finds you got on this dig. Congrats 👍🏻👍🏻 great videos, really enjoying watching them all, new to the channel myself so watched the last 8 so far all the way through 👍🏻

Whoa! You will never have another day like that! I saw someone dig their first Ann the other day. All that amazing silver. I do love the owl. The Gothic Florin is my favorite coin. It was a hour long, but so action packed with finds after finds. Oh and I got about 3 garnets from Simon. They are my birthstone. I took them and a couple of rings I had laying around and had a jeweler make a ring and pendant from them. They are beautiful.
The Gothic florin was the most beautiful coin ever produced for mass circulation. The date is in Roman numerals on the obverse. I'm a coin collector & love them. It was also the first attempt to introduce decimalization of our currency. It also known as the godless florin.
Standard gothic florins were slightly larger than normal florins. "Godless florins" are sliightly smaller than normal florins in diameter and have the "D.G" missing - hence godless. Also the godless florins have the date in standard numbers rather than roman numerals.
Awsome finds there guys, Alberts crown of Queen Anne it’s a valuable coin, tell him to give it a clean in Lemon juice for a few hours. and a gentle clean it will come up a cracker.
