When I saw the track I was gobsmacked. My track renditions aren't as accurate as the one in here. Even the GX textures are used better than I used them half a year back.
Wow, this is absolutely incredible. The background looks like the cover of a metal or prog rock album and the music fits that theme perfectly. The models are clean and the fog is a nice touch. This is what F-Zero should be in my eyes - not only a futuristic racer, but a musical/visual tribute to metal and rock. Well done team.
There’s something about the go sound effect at the start of the race is so enigmatic, so other worldly. like some windows 95 startup sound shit 👌 so go
These textures are the original GX textures which you can too rip yourself, but if you ask adel02 he apparently has them downloaded so you can patch them automatically (without renaming them to their respective X-Patches)
Imagine if they were able to program the Dark Schneider and AX machines into this fan game. Granted they play like they should and Fat Shark not being brokenly overpowered
Unfortunately, the music in the Roms are in wav format and as said in the staff interview, the guitars were actually recorded. Although we can rip the music, we cannot replace it as we would need access to the Rom compiler and its game code. Yes I will send it you either today or tomorrow but definitely before Wednesday. I guess I'm just waiting for your next track i can start remixing for that too LOL
This is nothing short of amazing! Also I had no idea you could insert hi-res textures into N64 roms as has been done with the character portraits here. Can this texture patch be downloaded somewhere?
I don't know if you've seen my own attempts with the Green Plant X-Style tracks but I patched the joker sprite from the casino level in place of Dr. Stewarts face and that came out nicely clean. As with this video, adel02 has been able to patch the GX textures much better than I have been able to and can also remake GX tracks more accurately. We plan to work together (more tracks means more GX remixes :/) If you ask adel02 he'll share you his Google Drive so you can try the tracks and textures yourself.
ok my internet decided to not suck for a bit so i clicked the link. says access denied and that i need to request access or switch to an account that has access to the file. huh.
@@AngelGamerAqau unfortunately Adel02 is no longer available online. Though I hope all is well with him as he did make a sudden disappear (you can still find his channel but you won't get any responses).
Just one thing to note, my remix won't be on there XD. If you decide to put an F-Zero: X ROM with custom tracks (made using FZEP) on there, make sure to enable the in-game race soundtrack (which ever one you prefer).
Remix Rave wait... which N64 flash drives should I get? I know there's one called the Everdrive. but is there a specific one I should get? Also when I download this F Zero X mod on to the cartridge, I will get the Expansion version from 64dd!?!
Well I don't own one myself but in the past I did consider purchasing one. I recommend choosing between Everdrive (or Everdrive +, which has some cosmetic differences) or the 64Drive (by Retroactive). Apparently Everdrive is pricier. And I've probably given the wrong implications, but no original ROM doesn't transform into the eXpansion version (that would be hilarious if it did). Basically, assuming you created some custom tracks on FZEP on your computer, then patched it to a clean copy of F-Zero: X, you could then flash that onto the Flash cartridge and plug it into your N64 and play along. However, what I was saying was (thanks to someone), there is now a patched version of the eXpansion Kit available in ROM format. The remix fits in really well with this track

I thought the ones you made were great 👍
Thanks. I'm better off remixing tbh.
By the way I have a little remix request
Go ahead.
This looks so awesome ! the music sound even more awesome with the fitting track.
Thanks!

Thanks! Btw the fog is automatically added by the CPU/GPU. It's part of the game.
...I gave the video a thumbs up before I even watched it. I already knew it was gonna be awesome, and I was right.
+Remix Rave I love how, at the end, you finishd the race and died! That's the true way of winning, going out as a Hero in a BLAZE of Glory! LITERALLY!
Give credits to adel02, his gameplay, my remix.
Okay. Thanks for the info, bud.
Your remix of F-Zero GX, Feel Our Pain, is Pretty, Freaking, Cool!
Nile river thanks!
And I've just lost my mind. That is genius

That instrummental packs a serious kick!!! .... and I'm HERE FOR IT!!!
You're very talented in both music making and game development.
Captain Falcon there at the end copying Deathborn. Complete with the "Nooooo!" before dying.
Damn, this looks great! Really fitting with your remix too! I would love to get my hands on this texture/course patch :o

Oh, I see. Thanks :D
nice complimentary track to go with your remix, very clever
We plan to do more. Though I fear what the next track will be...XD
Remix Rave oh lord, maybe Lightning Thunder Road ;^)
Talking from a remixing perspective that would be alright except I'm not sure how I'd go about providing the vocals throughout the soundtrack XD
Remix Rave drop em? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tempting, but there's no harm in trying.

I NEED THIS INSTRUMMENTAL…. NOWW!!!!!
Wow it fit perfectly :O!!
I dont know if it possible the patch music in roms xD
(I'm waiting for your video ;) )

Oh that unfortunate!
Ok! How about Lightning Thunder Road as requested by Figh16? :o
Your call, I'm ready to remix.
Hehe, I like this. Its just like F-zero GX
What a cruel ending!! XD

i like that gx skin
They're the actuall GX textures, only mapped much better than I could.
Actually the way you replicated the transparency is great! It's a good "demake" of GX you've done there!
Well you should credit adel02, as I solely worked on the remix.
well thank him for me ^^!
PS: and thank you for the remix
Where can I download these tracks? I want to play them myself!
Should be in the video description.
Oh wow the track is incredibly well made, shame the link doesn't seem to work anymore (atleast for me)
That is strange. I am able to still access it.
@@RemixRave probably my internet, been a bit unstable recently

You think there is a away to play this on a 64 console? the game bieng an actual hacked cartridge?
Yes, you can buy an N64 flash cartridge that lets you play roms, moreover, the FZX eXpansion ROM
