- in this video i show you something that most people don't know, but you can replace the gasket on your headlight. over the years in the weather, it wears, breaks and gets gummy. once its broken causes a gap between your headlights. if your going to change the gasket good opportunity to polish your headlights if your are getting faded.

and for those interested, i polished my headlight by hand starting with 400,600,800,1000,1500 then 3000 then compound, polish and wax. - Авто та транспорт

On a 2008 550i, how can you change the angle light (daytime light) assembly? The H8 bulb burned the socket where it goes and need to replace the entire thing not the hole headlight. Any suggestions how to replace it?

If I have condensation inside my headlight and the actual housing isn’t cracked, does that mean I should replace the gasket?

Thank you so much for this great video! One question...I was looking up the gasket, and there are two choices: the part number you used OR 6312-7187-269...is there a difference? How do I know which one would fit my 2008 e60 528i??

does this gasket includes the piece at the bottom of the headlight? I think it clips to the bumper? Also, i am looking for a video on how to remove the center armrest locking button. my button broke and I can't access the center armrest console. Thank you
Humberto Cortes no it’s just the gasket. The bottom piece is a bracket the headlight slides into that an entirely other piece.
one more question so there is like some water moisture in headlight is beacause of the gasket? need to be replace
Letran that headlight gasket won’t cause the moisture in the headlight. Check the headlight bulb covers if their not tightly screwed on it can cause moisture. But the gasket in this video doesn’t prevent moisture from happening.

Letran it’s very very difficult to remove without cutting. I’ve seen people use a heat gun and lots and lots of patience. I’ve never personally done it so I’m just going by what they told me

azn789456 good idea, mine had same issue, I have a spare cig light here I can film a demonstration how to fix the spring, the removal part is like my how to install spec dock video. I’ll try upload tonight
