Checking the front disc brake pads

This video shows how to remove the radiator shroud to get access to check the condition of front brake discs and pads which is a routine service item.

Can you not see the pads and the disc from beneath the car? Sure not in such nice detail as by your procedure but I was able to check it from laying under the car.

Hi Pavel, I believe that without the under tray on you can see the pads from underneath (it helps to have a hoist and NEVER get under a DS that isn't on stands) but the best view and also the best access if you need to change them is as described in the video. Ian
