God I love this channel! It's got everything....tanks, trucks, diggers, great banter, a sprinkling of sexual innuendo and the occasional no shits given to jobs that just need doing. I really don't think I've seen a harder working bunch of people on UA-cam.....or anywhere for that matter. I could watch all day long. It sure beats the spoon fed bullshit that the BBC and other media channels slingshot at us! Keep it up guys and girls...it's brilliant!
100%👍🇬🇧
& Ted😊
@@KM-wl1tp considering they seem to be married or have girlfriends etc quite probably.
@KM-wl1tp They’re quite often the ones behind the phone doing great filming. Or in front of camera getting stuck in. Or driving bulldozers. Or stopping Ted from eating poo. Generally making the world and this channel a better place…
I've actually stopped watching the mainstream brainwashing propaganda hate and fear spreading agendas being pushed by tv. Won't catch me getting conned into going to war for the so called future of are kids in Britain like my grandad did. Only to be blamed for global warming then to feed the war mongers pockets while are kids have ther future wrote for them. 👍
Brothers, let me just tell you, as a Texan, dont let ANYBODY ever convince you that being called a cowboy is a bad thing when they have no idea what kinds of things actual cowboys do. You all fit right in, we would be glad to count yall as friends and family.
X2 from another Texan
As another Texan, Can Confirm. These guys get down in the muck and the mud to get the job done just like any good ranch hand would. Ya'll would fit right in.
The phrase comes from 'cowboy builders ', meaning farmhands trying to construct anything more complicated than a shed, or fly by night chancers riding into town and shooting up the sheriff, i.e. doing a terrible job of fixing your house and disappearing as soon as they get paid. It's a throwback to the Hollywood westerns shown in British cinema and not meant to be disrespectful to Americans or real cowboys, but has spread from building to mean any amateurish bodge job.
Just been telling my son about your channel. He has aspergers, and is enamoured with tanks and stuff.
I served in the raf and ta, and loved my time in fighting vehicles.
My son is very technical and wants to be an engineer when he is older ( he is 11) he is a veteran of the Reme museum at lyneham we visit a lot (where I was based) and his enthusiasm for military vehicles is beyond scope.
Keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻
I notice that supervisor Ted was conspicuous by his absence when all the 'sketchiness' was going on with the sleepers. No wonder he doesn't let you guys out unsupervised that often.😂😂
Another great video guys. Keep it up.👍🏻👍🏻
Nice observation❤😂
Every day without a new Ted and Friends video feels a little incomplete. Thanks for the Saturday morning treat!
JACK!!!! The more paint you breathe in, the less gets in your eyes!!!!
"A bit sketchy" - a master of understatement
Perfect timing! Couldn't start a Saturday morning any better!
Agreed 💯.!! 👍 👍 👍
I think he said his friend who is getting the arv is going to convert it to diesel 😢
To America??? Doesn't the comedian in Ukraine want it too?
Excellent driving there by Adam, presumably the tree sprang back to its former glory. I see Poonie was supervising, yet again, probably on the look out for some ‘munchies’. Great work everyone.
absolutely none of my business but how did you gets meet? old acquaintances? school? mutual interests? you all take the piss out of each other and dont take anything too seriously, its brilliant and refreshing
Top tip ladies and gents, wash them down as soon as you're finished having your weekend fun. The bit we hated the most after an exercise was the wash down, but it saved a hell of a lot of problems and maintenance. It's also easier to get the mud off when it's fresh.
Things are coming along nicely though.
Those old school diesel's you just can't beat them simplicity at its best.
Sounds like modern petrol has absorbed water over winter. The joy of advances of modern fuels!
Though diesel did that anyway leant something new
I dont know if they can be bought surplus or not but a half tank bridge off of a bridge layer would be massively useful for you to have in your yard to act as a ramp for washing down and even as a loading ramp for trucks etc - we had one on our tank park for gun/sight alignment
was one on milweb a month or so ago.
"...the pooh's on fire..." That must've been a wicked hot curry.

What could possibly go wrong, good harmless fun , and for us entertainment perfect Saturday tonic , thanks for sharing Joe ,
very good indeed. I thought the REO was getting stuck, but Adam nailed it, great driving.
Brings back fond memories of my dad making the lights dim with his 3 phase arc welder, creating things in the barn. 8 ton trailer was his best one.
My dear old Pop used to,say “Old Uncle Jack was told not to smoke as a young man as he’d die young. Sure enough, he dropped down dead with a ciggy in his mouth aged 97”.
BTW, I very much admired the REO Cancer Smoke completing the theme!
Love working third shift and going on lunch when these get uploaded.
great humour and the tanks are OK also . Keep it up chaps ! ( and ladies )
Normally i love the Merlin/Meteor running sounds... but Jesus H Christ... it's got Asthma.
That yard of yours is so constrained! It is a wonder that there are not more holes and chunks out of all those brick buildings !
I am no longer annoyed with my dog for making me get up early and take him for a walk
Turns out he was giving me the free time to have a coffee and watch a Mr Hewes video
Good boy 🐶
I’m 55 years old and I’ve been a class A diesel mechanic since 1986. I love watching your channel cause I’ve always been fascinated with tanks. I feel that I could work tanks like I’ve been doing it forever. Because of you. I love watching your videos because of the way you explain shit, sometimes in a very, very funny way. But the thing I like the most is you got your mates there with you. Mine have unfortunately passed away and those days you’re living now are 30 years in my past. Enjoy these times, be smart, don’t screw up and most importantly don’t drink and drive. Please keep making the fantastic videos. Cheers !
P.S. your nasal whining impression of an old British guy that knows everything sounds incredibly like Jeremy Clarkson‘s same impression.
Have you ever thought about buying a second hand Johnson Street King sweeper for your buildings and yard they're just what you would need to help you with all the crap that vehicle's leave 😊
HSE "How sketchy was the task?"........"the giggling was constant sir!" 😅
I'm particularly impressed with the hand of eye protection
Love the old REOs. I miss mine like crazy!
I used to love the weekly snoop around the Snap On van when I was in the motor trade, Mac stuff always looked great on the van and shit in your tool box after a month.
Lead pipes are eventually coated by the calcium in the water they carry, thereby protecting the water from being directly exposed to the lead.
Poo’s on fire = Ted gets a hot meal at last
🤮
Love watching this mud relocation channel
Great video as always - thank you all
love the voice over explainers.
Hi, so entertaining, amusing but very informative. Many thanks from Nr Chester
The way we used to mount road wheels is you would be facing away from the tank as you lift it up, more or less aligned, and your buddy would then guide it onto the studs. That recovery vehicle hanger queen just doesn't want to go.... I was totally sure, the tree was gonna get hit. Nice recovery.
We used to do similar but the chap holding the wheel didn't lift. Two chaps, one either side of the wheel used shovels as a leaver against the tracks to take the weight.
@@Bob-kb5pv oh, now that you mention it, I remember that sometimes we would have a third with a tanker's bar to leaver up the wheel. The challenge was that we were supporting officer training, so each of us was individually responsible for several tanks so we didn't have a crew.
Hell of a job getting the deuce out of that field. Awesome driving
Morning. Saturday morning with a Mr Hewes Video. Nice 👌
A great video to watch on a Saturday morning, thank you guys.😬
That as they say is some antiquadated pices of machinery, that old cat starting up first crank was lovely to hear and as I’ve said many times to anyone who’ll listen there’s nothing like a Rolls Royce V12 engine meteor, Merlin, Neptune, all different finishing schools same core product,
Brilliant Video guys as always humour along with interesting content,
The levitating tank juggling trick....priceless. Bet you had fun with the elf n safety assessment,
The Rio was thinking "no way, NO WAY am I letting the FODEN take this one"
A Chinese meal after a hard day working fits the bill. Even wine and a log fire adds to the ambiance. Nice video chaps👍
Kevin Bloody Wilson has a song which suits Jack, 'The Kid (He Swears a Little Bit).'
We got tanks, neighing, Jack being rude, Mr Best making faces, Taya (spelling?) looking lovely, Seb straddling a nice, big...
...road wheel.
Yep, that's a bingo on the Mr Hewes card.
Awesome Video Muckers good to see the two old Cats together in working condition ,a nice bit of off road driving with the wrecker going for the bucket looking forward to the next video ,I hope you get that one carb fixed so she's banging on all cylinders you Need to get Lord Muck and Kim to come pay you a visit she's a looker she it
Nothing better than waking up on Saturday to find a fun game of Tank Jenga being played......... Joking aside watching you guys getting a tank up onto blocks and then back down makes me wonder if it might be possible to build a tank lift using a bank of massive lorry air suspension units so that you could drive over the top chock it up with sleepers and then pump the tank straight up in the air. It would need a decent number of long travel air suspension units but there must be something out there that would give you the range of lift that you need. And these units are already designed to carry massive loads so weight wise i'm thinking it would be possible. I only suggest this as I know you guys haven't enough to do and have tons of spare time ;-).....
Another video full of mechanical wonderland action happening with a crazy piano at the end; thank you!
Great video as always!! Thanks for sharing!! 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Excellent selection of different vehicles being used and or abused just like they should, well done.😊
Saturday lunchtime viewing doesn't get better than this!
Dam this is such an addictive channel - thank you. :)
Slogging away...tipping cows , and btight painted war relics...house perimeter secured , sir!
That recovery vehicle fits in that garage like a glove
Another great video and supervisor Ted with superior behavior. Missed opportunity when first crushing thru the hedge to say “Mind the paintwork “. What a beautiful vehicle. Thank you, cheers lads, lassies and Teddy.
How cool is that? You guys are so fun to watch. Love Jack’s accent.
Plenty of life left in that old cat yet, good job as always
Great video look like a lot of fun 👍😊
Always looked forwards to the Snap Off van tuning up.
Another great video! As always all actions approved by the safety inspector!!!

Great mix. Thanks for another one.
Dave from jimboomba qld Australia I'm 62 yrs now, built a ferret and a studebaker 6x6. Really good to see what you do.
Wow that recovery tank is huge. Needs some TLC but looks like an awesome porject
Dear Joe,
First of all I wanna thank you for helping out Emile Luijben, alias Master Milo, with his missing exhaust manifolds for his T69 tank because together with an almost brand new engine his Chinese tank will run better than ever before.
Your restored Centurion is almost finished and looks great so it can be shipped to her new owner in the USA pretty soon.
Your USA M936 crane is a light weight crane but is a good fighter in muddy roads so with all the rain over the past months the bucket was not too difficult to rescue.
I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
What a work!👍💪
Cracking bit of driving lad! As you said drive it like you stole it 😂💪👌
As an x service engineer for large earth moving equipment company, you never have enough large hammers for the pins😂❤
the ARV looks ridden hard and put away wet (oooh Jacks mum)
I think some Windows would be nice for the digger joe 👍👍🇦🇺
Whatever you do, don't hit the tree! Crunch!!! Well with the stuff you have around you could have a side hustle of tree trimming service....
I love watching you guys succeeding...
That recovery tank sounds like my first car.
He who has the most toys wins!
Loving the content 👍
He who enjoys life wins
Glad you stopped that recovery vehicle where you did, I had my doubts that it would easily fit through that tiny door.
Having a brew and noticed another vid, perfect Saturday morning 💪
@4:00 when it all goes horribly wrong.
Good work lads.
Does anyone else think Seb could be the narrator on some history channel?
i really enjoyed this
❤ magnificent channel, keep strong guys 😊 regards Steve.
Just catching up on a lazy Sunday. Real adventure playground with so much fun going on. Feel really tired now watching all your hard work!
"The poo's on fire"
Good words for a t-shirt, or the side of a tank
Great video. Lots going on.
Great stuff, Guys, very enjoyable.
Watching you 2 is like watching Monty Python.
Lead pipes are not a problem, unless they are in the House of Lords. The pipes corroded as the sinks were being used as urinals due to the poor and distant provision of toilets (at least that was the excuse at the time).
There was a time when tomatoes were suspected of being poisonous. What was actually happening was the lead in pewter kitchen vessels was being dissolved by the acidic toms, and getting into the food.
Excellent thanks 🎉🎉🎉
I'm sure Adam would have had it on the ground quicker than you could have drunk a cuppa! 😊😃
Back door needs the essential b.v. mount. Can’t go anywhere without that, completely VOR without it.
Morning Ted, their fitting flat tyres !..... Just saying.....
Amazing finding the "Lesser rusted digger bucket" thanks to a Farmer it was saved from the scrap man.
What a cold & windy place.
