So so sooooooo true. This album still stands the test of time. I listened to Troublegum at the gym yesterday, and there is not one bad song on that album. They're ALL good.
I'll never forget the day I discovered Therapy?, well, more like Therapy? found me! It was afterschool in 9th grade in 2001, and some kod threw a bunch of CDs at me saying, "here, some crappy CDs have fun!" Among them was the Die Laughing E.P. in its cardboard case when you open it, it has teeth and a laughing soundbox! That alone was enough to pop this disc in my radio. FELL IN LOVE!!!!! Especially since I was in psychiatric therapy, this band really helped through thick and thin growing up. Too bad they never tour in America, but I sure would love to go to the UK judt to see them. 2018, Still a big fan and keep them in my records!
Therapy? Come back to NYC last time I saw you here was at Roseland Ballroom in 1994.here was a brutal show..... Helmet Therapy? Surgery The Melvin's I could've died and went to heaven that NITE.Last time I saw them on US soil was at the Tramps in NYC when Infernal Love came out.But I have seen them tons of times when back in Spain. Therapy you have tons of fans in the US and go to AUS all my aussies friends wanna see Ya
For all the videos and singles that charted for "Troublegum" the album should have been even bigger,I mean it was big and is still their biggest selling to date (I believe "Infernal Love" is up there too)I think it had 5 Singles chart everywhere in the world practically yet it was still one of those albums the masses didn't find out about.Wtf was A&M doing with this band they marketed these guys horribly Who cares they rock and bring back Fyfe
BasqueNYC Well said! They also had a great back catalogue at time of release. Probably the most understated band of the nineties. To the fans though - they'll always be tremendous =)
Gimme something to breathe Give me a reason to live Close your eyes and see What you have inside I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane Now the dream is gone And your friends just tell you lies Then you realise You're gonna die anyway I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane Lost in a world with no reality I'm frightened to move I'm frightened to speak And I will kill for a good night's sleep I'm feeling I'm feeling Dead, dead, dead, dead I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember I can't remember I can't remember I can't remember
I remember the first time i heard this song, I thought it was a cover version. It just had that classic feel to it, even though i was just hearing it for the first time.
they were the best, they kick U2 out of the garden, what garden? the soundgarden. would they kick soundgarden out of the garden? no, it's their garden, but therapy deserves it's place there, they are, to me, the best band Ireland has ever spawned! Fucking amazing act. The last cassette I ever bought was the Therapy? album 'Stories' Think it was '95. Fuck yes
One of my favourite songs as a kid, didn't even know there was a video. Therapy? how bloody good were they? better than ll the metal bands at the time yet never made it. Imagine if Andy Cairns was pretty.
This music was used in a spot on MTV in 90s. Probably was a jeans ad, a man with six pack standing in a pond, or river, and some girls (nuns - maybe) were hiding in the bush. Anybody? I really want to find this spot, please help me :)
+LesterLeapsIn1 Ups :) You are right, my mind has rearanged the things over the time. Stiltskin - yeah, and I could have sworn, that it was a color advert :) It is amazing how memories can change, and can be replaced by undone events, only the Levis label was red :) thanx.
Fuck, fuck and more fuck. The 90's will leave forever. In a couple hundresd years that music will be studied just as Shakespeare is studied now and willl be reagarded as the best of art in the 20th century.
Most undervalued band in history.
So so sooooooo true. This album still stands the test of time. I listened to Troublegum at the gym yesterday, and there is not one bad song on that album. They're ALL good.
kevxxxedge sure, why not?
I just came here to echo this sentiment. I dusted it off at the gym as well and its still a classic. One of the best of the decade.
Ain't that the truth.
The tracks I used to get wasted to are the tracks I train to, nowadays!
great band, incredible album
Troublegum rocks my world at 36 as much as it did when I was 14
That's funny. It first rocked my world when I was in my 30s, and it still does :)
We lived good times.... I am slightly older though. 😉
So do I 😉
heck yes
Think I was 22 when it came out.
Still great.
Never forget this song. I think I am listening again after about such 27 years or more! 😲
Back from the days when MTV played music!!
you got that fucking right. what days!
Hey Everyone, check out my orchestral / acoustic cover of this song!
From the days MTV showed teens on spring break before they where pregnant
So much love for this song still
this song helped me a lot in high school. i felt less alone. the name of the band says it all.
I'm 30 and this song still says a lot about my life.
It's incredible how such a relatively simple song can kick so much ass. Great thing they're still around.
einer der geilsten Songs ever.
Such a great song and video.
Thanks for sharing.
On of my favourite songs from Therapy?'s troublegum album

Gimme something to breathe
Give me a reason to live
Close your eyes and see
What you have inside
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
Now the dream is gone
And your friends just tell you lies
Then you realise
You're gonna die anyway
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
Lost in a world with no reality
I'm frightened to move
I'm frightened to speak
And I will kill for a good night's sleep
I'm feeling
I'm feeling
Dead, dead, dead, dead
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember my own name
I think I've gone insane
I can't remember
I can't remember
I can't remember
I can't remember
Best music of the 1990s! Back when MTV kicked ass!
