Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash is not a good game. It’s a painfully generic 2D platformer and spits in the face of what the original Chibi-Robo represented and showcases my problems with some modern Nintendo games. It felt like it was talking down to the consumers. “Oh, people don’t like this, but they’ll like this: a boring, annoying 2D platformer with terrible art design and no idea what it wants to be.” The levels are designed all right; the game functions, but is that really enough to call a game OK? No! There’s no reason to play this game, and it annoys me that they held the series hostage over this thing’s success!

I don’t really get the hate for this game. It actually looks promising. Sure the graphics aren’t much to write home about and it looks kinda awkward to control, but the humor is pretty good and it has a flawed yet appealing art style. I’d say Gex is a pretty good game

Now this is therapy!
Ngl I lost it when they just straight up abandoned the giant chibi robo. You spend so many hours grinding to get enough coins to be able to even properly beat the game, and then you just throw it away to the bottom of the ocean. The game even treats it like it sentient, including asking it if it’s “ready to go home” making it seem as if it’s gonna do it’s own thing but NOPE!
Pacific Rim 2 looks really good so far

Giga Robo isn't that big. He's much bigger than Chibi, yes, but Giga Robo is about human-sized.
That boss fight looked like they were towering giants; building-sized.
+SegaMaster172 Actually I think that you can see chibi robo in the robot's chest. If that's true then the robot itself is at most about human sized.
No, that's the Chibi House in the robot's chest, which is also bigger than Chibi Robo.
The Chibi House itself is slightly bigger than the average human head and compared to the rest of the giant robot, it looks tiny.
So if the Chibi House is close to the size of a human head, then Giant Chibi Robo is a towering colossus compared to humans. Probably about 3 stories tall.
Basically, it IS a jager! However, a small one.

As a DLC character he's not popular enough. For a new Smash game, though, I'd say he'd be fine. They often use more obscure characters in the main game.
The Amiibo was made only to increase the appeal of Chibi-Robo and to try and entice people to buy the game.

At least Sticker Star put thought into the final boss. This game Just... throws randomness on one screen and looks like a Power Rangers Fight. It's Morphing Time!!!

So this is what Chibi Robo's Final Smash is... Neat.
Nah they should've used Giga-Robo from the first game.
Le Dapper Greninja yeah but even IF Chibi-Robo gets in smash, Giant Chibi-Robo would just be as over powered as Platinum Robo in Wonderful 101(I'm comparing if Wonder Red get's in smash, don't ask). So like it or not, bringing Giga-Robo from the original game would be more fitting for Chibi-Robo's final smash. IDC if Giga can be as big as Ridley(or bigger), anything's possible.

Am I the only one that wanted the final boss fight to have more than 1 phase. Also have combos instead of one punch at a time. Then do another one.

At first I was wondering how Giant Chibi-Robo's fits into those tiny canisters, but then I remembered the fact that Chibi-Robo himself once fit a toy pirate ship several times the size of his body into his head.

Screw all y'all nitpickers. If this is indeed to be Cheebo's last ride, at least he got to go out doing something awesome: saving the earth from an alien invasion by punching out a gigantic mecha.
And really, with that mentality in mind, I'm glad the dev team decided to, if just once, make Chibi giant. :D The tiny robo who started off scrubbing carpets with a toothbrush ends up saving the world as a gigantic sentinel of justice that Optimus Prime would step out of the way of.

I don't even consider this cannon with the rest of the franchise. what Chibi needs is a complex storyline, not some generic one
this fight is lackluster. But I like this music allot especially the credits
