I use a twinmax, but what the carb tune pro is a better too, twinmax is a little long in the tooth, mnine is 10 years old. Nice to see the vacuum ports on the throttle bodies of my 2019. now need to think how often I need that $400 tool, but cost about the same as the car guys pay when you go OEM, Good show guys, says the old Uralista...
We still support the GEN 1 EFI and will for years to come but the development was in the hands of the development company whos programing was proprietary. We here at URAL pushed for development for GEN 1, sadly it was never completed. If your bike is out of warranty you may be interested in the GEN 2 upgrade for first GEN bikes. I installed one on my friend Bill's 2014 and it made made a world of difference. It's not an install for the timid and I recommend a dealer do the work, but if you want to keep your URAL it might be something to consider in the future. An explanation of the numerous engine parameters, i.e. what they mean, their significance, what normal values are, etc. would be extremely helpful. I have the tool but have no idea what "close loop fuel correction amount" or "oxygen sensor output voltage" mean!
The GEN 2 EFI DIAGNOSTIC TOOL (2019-2021) does it works even on my URAL Ranger 2022/2023 (Kazakistan production) with last type engine equipped with Kehin injection?

guys....just bought this based on this great video....but the instruction manual doesnt indicate at all where you connect on the bike - its just the tech part for instructions. HOw do I plug this to my bike??

I have been looking for this for a long time. It was, to my knowledge, never listed in accessories or tools. Maybe I just missed it. Riding in Alaska, with no dealer and the nearest service 6 hours away, this can be very handy. Will it give me the status of all sensors, including the O2 and timing? Thanks both of you.
Yes timing is listed as "SA" (spark angle) and you can see a numerical status for sensors including the O2 sensor listed in "mV" (millivolt) for left and right O2 sensors (LH is listed as "NBO2_Volt", RH id labeled "O2BVolt").
Is it possible to use the carb tun pro on our Gen1 bikes? I looked but don't see a port to screw in too. Possible or just wishful dreaming? Dealers are few and far between. Even fewer and farther between that are qualified to turn a wrench. Would be great if these tools came with the bikes to support the idea of being able to fix anything, anywhere
I was wondering how to balance the efi cables . I will wait to see the actual demonstration of these tools. It would have been better if the vacuum on the efi bodies could be used to balance the bodies thru the diagnostic tool and also give you rpm for idle. That might have made the diagnostic tool cost more attractive.Then it could be done with just one tool thru the electronics display and readings from the engine.
I’d love to buy one except two drawbacks 1, Over six hundred dollars for me in Canada and 2, does not balance the EFI throttle bodies. Price is to high or I’d buy, I’m located 300 miles from closest dealer so maybe I’ll suck up the price but it won’t be without considerable thought,

You can build a cable for gen 1 bikes for about $15, get an OBD BLE Adapter for $25, and buy OBD Fusion for iOS for $10.

and you know, a tach is how I have 109K on one of my Urals. A real dash with one included would be a quantum jump for Ural. Just saying.
