Hi, really enjoying your Trekker adventures. I’ve been interested in the shorter model since its launch and had the opportunity to have a look at one recently. I wonder if you could answer a few questions as my local dealer had no idea and no interest in finding out. I thought the motorhome and Campervan industry was going through a hard time? Maybe not as even on a very quiet Tuesday afternoon Leisureword were not interested in showing me the Trekker and X they had available on site for sale. Anyway I digress.. can the leisure battery be charged by the vehicle alternator and how well is the van insulated? It has heated tanks so I assume it has decent winterisation/ insulation. Thanks and look forward to your next video.
@scottde3810 thanks for your feedback and following. The leisure battery is charged by the engine, plus the EHU and solar. The engine battery is also charged the same way. The van system is great and handles all that for you, deciding what needs to be charged and how. The control panel shows what is being charged and by what route.
@scottde3810 with regard to insulation we haven't tried it in real cold weather yet but this weekend should start to give it a good test. In development the van has apparently been tested down to some very cold temperatures.
Great video Paul....keep up the good work !
Thanks, will do!

Interested in the Trekker but wasn't sure whether to look at the video or your face 😂
@@billygee6376 not sure how to respond to that! 😂
How much space under the seat is there? Enough room to rotate the battery and add another?
I believe some people are having two batteries installed
