- This week I'm getting out of New York City for a quick 24 hour trip to Watkin's Glen in Upstate New York. I took my time along the way to scope out some drone spots and take some shots with my DJI Air 2S. After hiking in Watkin's Glen and enjoying the waterfalls and nature, I head to the Corning Museum of Glass to get an uopclose look into how glass is made. Enjoy the beats, views, and vibes in this early November New York vlog.

I stopped at Corning on a trip to Niagara Falls as a kid. Very different from your experience. I did get to go to Venice and went to see the glass blowing on the island of Murano. Of course I got my mom some Murano glass gifts!
You go QJ! I wanna thank your Mom too for that nudge to the Glass Museum in addition to your waterfalls and scenery offered in Update NY. Glass as art is oh so interesting and eye catching. I love glass items in the home (I probably have way too many, even in storage) as well. New, depression, milk, artsy, it's all good. The MOG is awesome all in itself. Thank you for showing it, and thanks to the Mom here in VA once again. Congrats on the license and def have to check your "eyes" out!
The Hudson River is so huge. Your drone captures so much land I can't believe it. I love that park you visited -Watkin's Glen-so pretty. And the glass museum was cool too. I did a glass sculpture in uni-so it brought back memories. Such a free spirited Gemini you are like me-always wanting to see and learn. Wow that was really good, actually one of your best vlogs. When doing a summer school at Cornell U in Ithaca, I was fortunate to be taken to the Corning Glass place (then on to Niagara Falls). In 1991 I can remember it was mainly retail but your video brought back fond memories of upstate New York. Autumn looks so beautiful- those colours the red foliage on those tress was stunning. Great vlog! Yes it’s nice to get away sometimes and explore other places. I’ve been to NYC once and it’s definitely too fast paced for me but I do enjoy visiting. I’m a country boy! The convenience and access is great in the city though, which is a plus. I love the Fall scenery from the drone shots and I love the IG page you created for them. Have you thought about uploading them to stock websites and selling them for movies, etc? Great video! Proud of you. I know it takes a lot of work to do these videos so we appreciate you sharing your life and passion. ❤

Hi Quincy...I was at Watkins Glenn and the glass museum many moons ago. I remember walking those steps. I believe the corning factory is nearby as well. My prediction for the coming winter is wet and mild. Mind you, I'm basing this on scientific fact....I am not seeing squirrels with big bushy tails, the temperature has been chilly but always seems to bounce back up, still lots of leaves on the trees. If the leaves are crispy on the trees or gone by Thanksgiving and the northwest wind is blowing, then most assuredly, a cold winter. All the above must happen. Scientifically speaking, of course....LOL... But true. Thx for the cool shots of the gorge and river.
Hi Quincy it’s very nice to see you take A brake from this city here in NY and I can’t wait to get out and travel around and have A brake from my job for at least A week. And visit my Mom and two brothers grave in NJ Rosedale Cemetery and pray ..

Really good video, love being able to get upstate every so often; a friend and I were just up in Beacon, which is a cute small city too--unfortunately it was dreary/rainy out so we couldn't do a hike there, but even then we still got to see some of the pretty foliage along the Metro North route there, which you showed such top-notch video of here too (definitely checking out your Drone IG too). Glad it was a relaxing trip :)
